This hotel is a top choice. Pricing is excellent. Services are good . Helpful staff. Mostly in centre of the city . Room size good. Cleanness is great. Recommend with a 5 star rating. Enjoy your stay 😊
Nice hotel clean and quiet. Located near metro station so you can go anywhere. The staff was very helpful as well and speak english. good value for money in my opinion for those who want to make most of their time in Kiev.
Hotel is a bit out of the centre, however only an easy 15/20 minute walk in or a few pounds in a taxi/uber. Rooms were large and immaculate. Bathroom was clean and had ample hot water and good pressure in the shower. We ordered room service on a few occasions and the food was simple but tasty and reasonably priced and quick! Staff were lovely and helpful and were happy to book taxis etc. There is an atm in the lobby which was handy during our stay.
I recently arrived at the hotel on business, with some members of my team. The hotel isn’t central but it isn’t too far and taxis and public transport are easy to use. My first evening I got a really good night’s sleep the rooms are spacious fairly modern and very clean. Unfortunately for me when I opened my suitcase in the morning I discovered that my bag had been ticketed wrong. I realised this due to the Bra’s and underwear which certainly weren’t mine, unless I had become a cross dresser overnight. I called the hotel reception who were simply amazing they organised a taxi for me to the airport one of the staff members came with me to help with the language barrier and law and behold when I got to the airport the lady that had taken my case had returned it and was waiting so all was good in the world. The rest of the stay was uneventful, Kiev is a beautiful city and if you visit I would certainly recommend staying at the Alfavito, it’s a very nice hotel, with some of the best employees I have come across in the industry. Even without the help with my case they were always polite, would ask how your day is. It’s a very nice touch. Especially before or after a long day at the office. Great job Alfavito I will certainly stay here again when I visit my offices.
Really enjoyed my stay the rooms are spacious and beds are comfy the staff was very helpful and spoke English. A tip if you are looking to save a few bucks on the breakfast, if you order breakfast to your room the night before on the cards that they provide it costs around $8 usd if you book directly with the hotel it costs $16 to eat in the dinning room in the mornings. They do not provide tea or coffee in the rooms that is a additional cost to have brought to you. As thy don't have a hot kettle in the rooms. That is definitely one thing I think they could improve in. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and went from booking 3 nights to staying a full week the hotel is a 10min Uber or taxi ride to the Maidan square and there is a variety of local Ukrainian and Georgian restaurants in walking distance. Great for both a short and longer stay weather single or with a family I'd recommend this place.
Not at the center but the hotel is really comfortable. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast has many varieties, so one can easily find lots of things to eat. Checkin and out was pretty fast. I would just prefer a bigger lobby area which has a pretty nice decoration indeed.
Many reviews find problems with the rooms, comfort, noise etc. This has none of those and if you are looking for value in a nice room then this hotel should fit the bill. However my issues were a little different. When I decided to go to breakfast after my schedule changed I knew that the breakfast was not included with my room but that I would have to pay additional for it. So far no problem...Then I went downstairs and told them my room number and asked to charge it to the room. The waitress then indicated that I should get a plate for the buffet and find a table. No sooner do I sit that she rudely says I cant charge anything to my room and I would have to pay. No problem I thought stupidly, simply pay after your meal like every other restaurant in the civilized world. That was not to be...instead she demanded payment as that first sip of coffee was apparently not to be savored on that morning. I gave her 5000UAH and waited foolishly for the significant change that never came in spite of her seeing me several times. When I tried to get her attention I was placed on ignore (sort of like calling the cable company).I figured so what I was checking out later and it would be water under the bridge. Not so Kimosabe. When I checked out they asked about the minibar and I indicated that I had used three items for which I needed to pay. They told me that the minibar was on the honor system if the housekeeping crew had not had a chance to inventory it. My minibar bill was actually larger than what breakfast would of been so I inquired why is the minibar honor system but when a client tries to add to their bill a simple breakfast which would necessarily be always collected on upon checkout (and hence no honor system needed) I was told "Oh you may be trustworthy but the other guests are not". HUH? Let me see if I understand the Hotel philosophy...If you are a client you are assumed to be a thief but somehow I am not. Well folks if you want to give you business to someone who is going to assume that you are a thief..be my guest. Me? Well I will be looking elsewhere next time. P.S. They finally got me my change from the morning
Clean bathroom, big room, spaceius room, high ceilings, nice staff in reception, 200 meters to the closest metro station, good service, secure, short taxi drive from clubs n bars. - little expensive bar
Friendly staff, good cleaning. A decent kitchen. You can stay alone or with family. The staff is ready to help solve any problems quickly and efficiently. The cost of the service is also good The rooms comfortable and quiet - there are all conditions for recreation
All you need is here - perfect location, nice stuff, good rooms at reasonable price. I am smoker and appreciate a lot that there have a few rooms for smokers with a perfect ventilation. Early in the morning you can find a hot coffee near to the lifts - seems like nothing but you know that it is very important sometimes. Recommendations: Improve the internet and the scrambled eggs :)
