When booking a weekend getaway for my husband and I there were so many hotels to chose from. We went first for location, then price, amenities, etc. They are all in the general price range but if you want to pay $100 - $300 more a night can choose others. Crowne Plaza is centrally located on Deval street where all the bars and restaurants are. We also only wanted to walk. I liked that there was also a fridge in the room and hotel bar. The hotel is old, very clean, dark atmosphere, and nice staff. I requested things we couldn't fly with and gladly gave them to me. The bartender from Russia is a good bartender and friendly. The pool I saw and fairly small and bar was not staffed so didn't use. The room fridge is in the cabinet in front of bed and can barely open due to space. We had a king bed and pretty small but surprised to see a nice couch by the window to sleep on if needed. The bathrooms are very small. As mentioned before the bathrooms are small! I'm 5'6 and while sitting could stretch my feet to touch door and touch counter and shower wall with elbows out. Overall, I would book the hotel again and really about what you are looking for on your trip. Enjoy Key West and Crowne Plaza!
