Location

Very spacious and great location

All table surfaces in apartment glass. Movement of any dishes produces noise. Apartment tiled floors add to noise and echoes. Very small tvs. Bath tub unsafe, no assist bars tub interior surface smooth. No bath mats available. We worried about slipping and falling. Deck faces loading dock for Ritz. Trucks start unloading about 7 every morning. Truck back-up alert even comes through closed sliding doors. Kitchen very sparsely equipped. Access to beach envolves about 1/4 mi.walk. We did not realize English is the second language.in Key Biscayne. Had trouble at time talking to a primarily Spanish speaking population. Service people mostly. The weather was warm and Sunny. A relief from Michigan weather at this time.

It's been going downhill for a longtime, and now bottomed out-- it has officially entered "a dump" status.

It's awful in general. I visit the area once a month and i stayed here before and it was average, so I decided to give it another try. Now its worse. The general aspect of the property looks outdated and hence dirty (even though i saw the cleaning ladies all the time doing work) lacks of maintenance because there was painting shipping and water leakings all over, and the pool looks dirty. No AC or fan in the elevator so try not to get stuck there (and its old and slow). The unit we had had only one spoon, 2 towels, the AC didn't work good. I guess they need to give a facelift to the whole property if they want to keep using it as a hotel because so far its worse than a highway motel.

Bad maintenance many things broken, Smoke detector beeping for lack of battery (informed the office and was told they knew and they ordered the battery) , full kitchen but no microwave. I have stayed in similar properties on the area and this is the worst

I understand that the prices of the other places on Key Biscayne are very high, but for what this place is charging, there is a large disconnect. I stayed on my parents couch, but my Husband felt ok with staying there. The couch had a large "white" stain, the floor tiles had large holes missing. The smell of disinfectant was over whelming. Horrible

The property was ok, although I think it is not quite equipped for an extended stay. There was no cleaning due to Covid, but the first day I entered my feet were so dirty after walking inside the loft without shoes. They brought me a mop and a towel for cleaning. But I had to buy all cleaning products to do it. There were few cutlery and mugs, no baking dishes for the oven or pan. One knife for cooking that didn't work well and another one broken. Towels and sheets have to be cleaned and changed by yourself. Other than this, the location is very good. 3 minutes from the beach (walking) and 5 minutes from the store.

The stove did not work. WE did not have the chance to report it to management.

This place is strictly for the location because it is next-door to my son’s building. It has a swimming pool which seems OK but that us pretty much the only amenity. For the rate they charge, service should be every day but it is half that at best. My unit had water coming through the ceiling after it rained (which it does there in the summer) and when I told the manager she said she knows and that it’s an old building. Then the water came in through a wall into the closet where the extra pillow and blanket are capped and soaked them. Again, her comment was that she would get me spare if I needed them and there would be no maid service that day. Also, I received an email before I got there saying that they needed a new credit card number because my bank I have a data breach and I had to get a new card. I called the manager and gave her the new number but then when I got to the hotel she had not given it to the reservation person who had canceled my reservation. Apparently they keep Bruce with leaky water on hand and gave me one of those. This was a pretty negative experience for paying $179.00 a night.

Wonderful way to live as a local in Key Biscayne! Simple property has what you need, plus beach access.

The staff are nice and the hotel is spacious, but the walls, sofa and the bed are white, starkly so, which made it sterile and not cozy. I would have liked someone me coziness in a place I stayed in for a whole week.

Nice staff but unfortunately, was hard to communicate. Spoke limited English and was hard to understand. I personally didn't consider this location a "resort". Pictures make it appear that it's directly on the beach, when the beach access is actually over two hotels. A small ally that is not paved, is what took us to the beach. In order to get to the water we has to wade across a thick layer of seaweed. We stayed for only 30 minutes before packing up, and driving to a different beach location.

good -safe neighborhood -clean room -close to beach -nice pool bad -wifi -tv

The unit we got was not bad at all. It was clean upon our arrival, but daily cleaning was not provided unless you requested it. Otherwise, the place is fine! Location is perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have no regrets.

If a room was was available somewhere else we would have left as staff did not make us feel welcome and was extremely rude while we were checking in. We are very easy to please and have never written a bad review but felt we should let others know our experience and steer clear.
