Sub standard compared to others in Ketchikan and double the cost.

The hotel was not cleaned well. The smoking and nonsmoking rooms are on the same floor. The building smells like cigarettes! I will never go back to this place!

location good, breakfast not so good, rooms okay, safeway next door with other fast food restaurants

IT was hot in Ketchikan (not a normal occurance) b the room was very hot and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Sketchy vibe but it worked

The Super 8 is in a great location, the only problem is the beds. They are pretty much like cardboard.

The Super 8 in Ketchikan is in a great location; across from the mall and a few of the main restaurants. The one thing that I didn't like where the beds. They were very much like sleeping on card board and gave me and my daughter a back ache. The staff is friendly, and having a washer and dryer available to the guests is a major convenience.

Average room, they forgot to clean on the first day, the ice machine was broken for the entire 3 day stay and the TV and available programming was budget. A starbuck accross the parking lot was the best feature...

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, and excellent location. If you like to walk, you're about a mile from downtown. An easy, level walk all on sidewalks right to the end of downtown. About a half mile walk up hill to the town swimming pool. OK views, just about every room has a view of the water. I was busy all day fishing, just needed a place to unwind and sleep until the next day of fishing. It was basic motel, but fine.

the hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. I wished they had more to choose from for breakfast. Shopping mall shared the parking lot and just a short drive to other shopping and dining. great location right on the water. They have freezers available for those who fish to store them in.

Safety is impportant, I did not have any issues during my stay. I did not feel completely safe, but that's due to my notion of Super 8 type of hotels. If they will update the decor, the room would feel more welcoming. It is clean and safe enough.

The hotel was nice and clean, the biggest problem I had was being situated near the elevator. Don't let them place you near the elevator either. All night people were coming and going, not quietly either. I had a room on one side that came in after a night of drinking (I assume) and the other side decided to begin arguing about the time the first side quieted down. I was up from 3 am. Not the most relaxing night of my life. I heard form locals that the best time in this hotel is weekdays, weekends get loud.

The room was a nice size, the bed and pillows were very nice, not to hard or soft. It had a safe for my use, which is a very nice amenities. The one thing I did not know was having to take a ferry from the air port to the town of Ketchikan. This was ten dollars for the ferry crossing. Over all I liked the Hotel, and it was in a good location, close to a mall. They also provided shuttle service from the ferry dock to the hotel, and returned service when leaving.

Rooms and halways were old and in need of remodeling. The rooms had an odor, and did not feel clean overall, the tub was abviously not clean. At night and wee hours in the morning there were people comming in drunk. Price was too expensive for these types of circumstances.

THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS MOTEL WAS THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE THAT PICKED US UP AT THE FERRY TERMINAL AND CARRIED US TO THE MOTEL. THE NEXT DAY CARRIED US ANYWHERE WE NEEDED TO GO AND WOULD ALSO STORE OUR STUFF AFTER CHECK OUT TIME, ALL FREE OF CHARGE. OF COURSE WE TIPPED THE DRIVER.
