Booked Randles hotel for a one night stay as a couple. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted warmly. Not much information given on pool or spa however but we also forgot to ask. Rooms are clean, have a vintage feel about them with very soft beds. Our rooms was very quiet. One complaint would be that the television had a lot of bass and would vibrate off the table it was on, we couldn't find out how to adjust this. Bar food was very nice and the bar man on duty was very friendly and helpful with regards to local places of interest for us during our stay. The pool was nice and was the same depth throughout. No need for a swimming hat which we found a bit unusual for a pool open to all residents. However the pool was nice nonetheless. Overall it was an enjoyable stay if you want a hotel within walking distance from the centre of Killarney.
We chose Randles Hotel to celebrate a school reunion dinner. All those attending were full of praise for the hotel and the way we were looked after. The bedrooms were of a very high standard, and the meal was magnificent. We would definitely recommend.
Room and bath were very dated. The staff of the hotel and eating areas were very nice and friendly. Bathroom and shower were a bit moldy. The staff made up for the room. The bed coverings were heavy and not very tidy. The hotel was just a short way from town.
We had this hotel as part of a budget package deal, and were astonished at the quality! The interior is gorgeous! It actually made us feel a little self-conscious walking in our mud-stained travel attire. The staff was wonderful. Super friendly and anxious to help anyway they could. One evening when the seating at the bar/restaurant area was full they served us instead sitting on couches in the lounge area. The hotel restaurant had a good selection and food was good. Breakfast was included in our fare-- there was a "cold buffet" freely available, and then you could choose one selection of the "hot menu". Not quite as nice a freely selecting from a hot buffet, but there was a good selection and it was decent quality. The rooms were amazing. Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious. Our king room had a bay window with a large cushion seat that could have served as a bed for a medium-sized child. Our kids had a room with two bed-- one twin and one double. There was closet space, bedside tables, desk, good mirrors. Bathrooms were a little short on counter space but had modern fixtures. As with all our Irish hotels, they did have the annoying feature of the light switch being OUTSIDE the bathroom door, making it impossible to use the toilet at night without flooding the entire room with light. But as I said this was so in all our hotels, forcing us to count that as one of regional quirks that makes travel so interesting. Free parking was available in a basement garage. Hotel is along a low row of hotels and bed & breakfasts-- not much scenery to view outside. It wasn't too bad a walk to a downtown street with restaurants, but we ate the hotel our 2nd night out of too much exhaustion to contemplate that walk again.
The Randles is an excellent family run hotel. We have stayed there on numerous occasions over the years and its very high standard of service and comfort have never waned. Well done to all the management and staff. The service to the table at breakfast time is particularly noteworthy.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kerry, great location 2mins walking from town, great safe parking. Every member of staff we meet were so friendly and helpful. We stayed over the Easter break with our three daughters - they loved the pancakes in the morning. We could find fault it was a great place to stay and enjoy all that Kerry has to offer.
Lovely hotel within walking distance to Centre of Killarney. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious and has so many options. The hotel bar has been modernised and is very upmarket. This hotel is number 1 in Killarney.
Excellent Hotel. Everything you could ask for. Great food, service, rooms. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Pool is great and the spa is very relaxing. Can't recommend the hotel enough. We'll be back.

Stayed in Randles for 3 nights over Easter. Cannot fault one thing about this hotel. Staff were all friendly, our room was clean, spacious and warm. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with fab selection. The pool area was clean and the water was warm. We were allowed to bring our wee dog with us to stay too which made our holiday extra special. Thank you Randles x
