Had a wonderful night in the Killarney Royal Hotel Restaurant celebrating my husbands birthday. There were 14 in our party. The waitress & waiters were so nice & attentive, nothing was too much trouble. There were plenty of side dishes served with the main course. They brought out a birthday dessert plate & sang happy birthday! Food was delicious as always. Our guests were very impressed. Cannot praise the hotel highly enough. If you're ever in Killarney, pop into the bar for some lovely food & friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

had the great pleasure to dine here with friends recently, it truly is a lovely experience. The quality of the food was truly magnificent as was the service we received from what can only be described by charming staff. The dessert choice should carry a health warning for all the right reasons!! Overall a 5 star experience from start to finish. This hotel is a credit to Killarney

Once again, our visit to the Royal was wonderful. The hotel provides an elegant interior wherever you go in the hotel. The staff are attentive, polite and friendly. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, breakfast, dinner and cream teas. So thank you, all at the Royal for a lovely weekend.

Last Friday my husband & I stayed in this beautiful hotel. We had stayed before so we knew what to expect. I can safely say we have stayed in nearly all the hotells in Killarney over the years & this place has a place in my heart - Even my husband who normally wouldnt take too much notice of details in the room - he said several times how much he liked the room. There is a lovely atmosphere and staff so friendly. We didnt dine there on the night but the breakfast in the morning was delicious. We both said on check out it was a shame to be leaving - planning a return trip already.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely weekend in the Killarney Royal. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left everything was top class. Our room was superb with everything you needed. It was in the centre of town (so no taxi's) and the food was top class. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed two nights at this beautiful boutique hotel while on our Back Roads Tour of Southern Ireland. Killarney and the surrounding areas are beautiful. It was great to be in one hotel for a few nights instead of a different place every night. The hotel is very elegant, its lobby and bar beautifully decorated. The food and service were excellent. Our room was huge with all the amenities you could wish for. We were treated with a bottle of wine for our 10th anniversary, always a nice touch. Also, the location is excellent. The hotel is, in our opinion, suitable for couples or business persons, classy and quiet (as in no kids running around!). Highly recommended. Katie Moyer and Jack Rugg Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Just checked out of the Royal after a three night stay. I came to Killarney for a conference and had to book into the Royal as the conference hotel was full; I was blessed! Small, boutique hotel in a charming old building that has been beautifully decorated so that it’s both elegant and comfortable. Extremely relaxing room with gorgeous free standing bath in the en suite. Spotlessly clean, plenty of complimentary water, tea, coffee, biscuits and White Company toiletries- all of which were replenished daily. Breakfast was excellent with fresh honey comb as part of the cold buffet element. Wide choice of hot dishes all of excellent quality in terms of ingredients and preparation. Finally, the staff were great; friendly, professional and extremely obliging. John the night manager is particularly deserving of thanks for his patient attention to those of us delegates who returned late at night from the conference. A gentleman! Can’t wait to return.

Just back from a wonderful few days in the Killarney area. Lots to see and do. A lovely days golf on the Killeen course, visits to Muckross House and Kenmare. Killarney is a great town, lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed in the Killarney Royal. Lovely boutique hotel, great staff, generous rooms and lovely food.

This is an old but renovated hotel in the center of town. We liked it very much. Rooms still a bit dated with older furniture and quirky electrical outlet placement for example. But lovely and quaint with very excellent service. Nice lobby and we had an excellent dinner in the small restaurant. Well located in the center of Killarney. Recommended.

I organised a trip for my family last weekend, and I have to say the staff at the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. We were really pleased when we arrived to our room, it was really spacious and we had a separate bath and shower. While it was on the main street, it wasn't noisy and the bed was very comfortable. The food was good, though we felt some of the pastry dishes were reheated. Breakfast was good with excellent service. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
