This is a great place to stay in Dingle. The decor is a bit outdated, but that is easy to overlook considering all the benefits of this place. It is a great central location for most of the attractions on Dingle. It is right at the beginning of Slea Head drive. The staff is VERY helpful. They offer a full and continental breakfast and free private parking. There are lots of yummy restaurants and pubs nearby. The restaurant is also very delicious. We ordered the Seafood chowder and Lamb burger. Delish!!
We were a party of 5 adults visiting Kerry and I booked the Dingle Benners hotel. We stayed here for one night and We just loved that "Family-run" and "Old World" ambiance. This hotel reminded me of Childhood holidays. It is located in the centre of Dingle, which made life very easy! We ate breakfast here the next morning and enjoyed the breakfast very much! One of our party ate cod for breakfast and he kept praising the freshness and delicate flavour! There is a well appointed buffet counter with a generous range and choice available! Highly recommend! The car-park isn't ideal, as it is located at the back of the hotel, (one-way streets etc.) however, this is most understandable, as, the hotel-facade is on the main street. The bedrooms were a generous size and spotlessly clean.
A great location in the centre of Dingle town within walking distance of all shops/pubs/restaurants. Comfortable rooms with friendly staff and a varied and tasty breakfast selection. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on a return visit to Dingle.
Benners is perfectly located on Main street. It is convenient for shopping, and has a great choice of restaurants and pubs so close to its doorstep. The service was excellent with the staff being warm and friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable and I will be recommending it as a place to stay to anyone heading to Dingle. We certainly will be going back again for another visit :)
I would recommend the Benners Hotel to anyone. It is fantastic! Clean, great food, great location to visit shops and pubs. Enjoyed our stay so much. Can’t wait to return and Enjoy Dingle and Benners again .
Great Location , lovely management , great breakfast and great coffee , great recommendation for activities , also they recommended Lord Bakers next door it was excellent, thank you Benners hotel for a memorable stay
We went here as a second choice on a busy night but weren’t disappointed. The other pubs and restaurants were full or nearly so with folks waiting for the music to start. However, the menu here looked good and the dining areas were traditionally and attractively furnished. The service was friendly and we had an overall good experience. Very slightly pricey but the quality of what we had made up for it: Caeser salad with smoked salmon and an open crabmeat sandwich. Comfortable and pleasant.
Visited the Hotels restaurant and bar on recent visit to Dingle. Food on the whole was very good except the smoked salmon and shrimp which was very dry and tasteless. The fish chowder looked very good. The bar and restaurant was very busy on the lunchtime we visited.
We were on a Rick Steeves "Best of Ireland " tour in September 2017. Even though this hotel was downtown and on the main street, it was pretty quiet. There is a pub attached to the hotel which is convenient. The shops and restaurants are a short walk. There are a few cozy areas in the lobby area where you can sit with friend and share a cup of tea or a drink. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style and very good.
I wish we could have stayed longer. This place is the best! The ladies who worked in reception, The wait staff and house keepers. You all were very good to us. The room was amazing I could sit and look out my window and enjoy the view. Breakfast was fantastic! We are planning our next trip and part of it will be with them.
