I was abler to walk into the hallway where my room was from outside. I did not have to go through the lobby each time I returned to my room. I was not happy that the shower did not have a non-slip rubber mate for the bottom ot the tub. The bottom of the tub as slippery. A mate should have been provided.

Excellent location
Everything about the property was great, especially knowing this is not a new property. The staff, cleanliness, location, and amenities for the price are excellent. I also left a tech item in my room, but the staff had it the next day and shipped it UPS to me - I paid shipping of course, but the staff was prompt and helpful. The only negative and it is not that major, is the breakfast. It is average and self-serve for $16 similar to what you get free at other hotels. However, we also ate dinner and it was excellent and may of the other hotresl where I would get that free were higher priced during my stay. And this feels more like a community with convenient restaurants/cafes and shops to walk to, and the nearby Miami Lakes Golf Club. I certainly would stay here again, especially for the convenience and cost compared to hotels around the airport and other higher priced options.
