Rooms clean, staff great, rooms are small but manageable if you do not intend to spend a lot of time in room.

Good value for.the price. Facility is showing it's age but it is clean and comfortable.

Stay there one night on Sept. 19. And the hotel is outdated and clean. The hotel manager(owner?) was not very friendly and we were giving the room downstairs on the first floor(bottom floor) at the far end. We only had 2 small carry on luggage, so it was not too bad. The room is small and no A/C, and the window could be open for some air. The only view you had from the window was the mud and dirt. (or someone legs walking on the bridge from the parking lot to the second floor rooms above ours.) And the worst thing was the hotel charged us on our credit card for the night that we already paid for thru 0rbitz.

I highly recommend this hotel. Service was excellent. Hotel with a good restaurant. Hotel sits right opposite to Beluga lake, so you get a chance to view float planes landing and take off. Also it is just a couple of miles from Homer spit. You can spot Bald eagles and other birds in the estuary right next to it. Lobby staff was good. They did suggest quite a few places to see. Free breakfast with good variety of foods. The rooms may be a bit pricy, but I feel it is ok in the season time considering the location.

The people were friendly and helpful but the hotel was dirty and run down. The comforter on our beds were not clean, the shower was just gross. Our door had to be slammed in order to get it to shut. Not impressed.

Large and comfortable rooms

The basics were there and the room was clean and comfortable. The microwave and mini fridge were welcome but the fridge made a lot of noise and had to be unplugged. Due to the time of year, there were few guests yet there was little care taken in spacing them. The guest in the room above us slept with the television on, and the office was closed for the night. When I asked the front desk if a local restaurant was closed for the season, instead of offering to call the restaurant, the clerk advised me to drive there.

The room was small but not uncomfortable. Noisy when we stayed and walls pretty thin. People walking and talking in the halls were very audible. Don't book if allergic to cats...owners have at least one cat that roams freely about inside the motel. WARNING: I booked through Orbitz but my credit card was charged AGAIN when we checked out. Didn't know this until it showed up on the statement. Owner won't make it right even after my bank contacted them so I have to put in a fraud claim! I won't do buisiness again with someone like that.

This hotel does just that - bed for the night, with no frills. The room was clean and spacious. However, it had kitchen facilities, but little equipment ( can opener, silverware ) and what it did have was not very clean. Maybe most people do not use the kitchen part of the room. A free continental breakfast - this was poor. Stale mini bagels, hard mini pastries, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and oranges. I wouldn't recommend it. And it was expensive.

good location clean and quite cable tv a plus. beds where good and hard comfortable. also way easy to find

Just be sure to ask for a room on the second floor or at the end opposite the lower entrance to avoid noise. Comfortable continental breakfast nice touch. Could walk down to Spit and back. Across from Buluga Lake float plane base. Unique.
