Everything was easy!
I am booking for two rooms and two nights, because of our flight cancelation and because i was really messed up in late nights, i was booked hotel that far away from the BUS IAH airport, within 1 hour i’m asking for refund for unused nights, orbits already help and contact the property for it. And the hotel was approved to refund 1 nights unused night due to unfortunate flight issue and distance. I need to cancel the other nights due to i need to stay at the airport to fixed my baggage issue and try to fix my schedule flight. And in the morning when i want to check out, the supervisor told, they can’t refund me and the staff was wrong to give the approval. And now my refund request was canceled. I guess its property responsibility, when i already told within 1 hour my reservation that i will only use 1 night because the property really far from BUS IAH airport and its approved at 1 AM , we reached the hotel at 1.30 AM. It’s been approved before and now they are declined the request. It’s really inconsistent, if your team doing wrong, as supervisor and manager you should cover and managed it internally not disappointing your customer.
The room was clean and spacious. The bed comfortable. It was not a great location, as there was no restaurant nearby.
Decent place for a short stay of a day may be . For longer stays I would not suggest this. Old place, worn down, breakfast is very average. They had waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausages and the other usuals but everything except the waffles were bad . After day 1 we could barely eat anything there. Rooms are decent, carpets had holes in them.
Clean, had airport shuttle, and breakfast.
LIKE: room, breakfast buffet, staff friendliness and promptness----POOL!! DISLIKE: Having to negotiate the parking lot due to temp gates.

I am sorry that the hotel did not meet your expectations. I would love to hear back from you on what the issue was. Customer service is very important if want to improve to better serve our guests. After doing some research your name pulled a reservation that you tried to cancel late in the day. We have a 24 hour cancellation period and you were advised to contact the third party you booked with. Since we did not receive any communication from the third party, you were charged a no show fee.
