The hotel has a lovely modern foyer. However our room was very dated-1980s comes to mind ! Our bathroom had dirty tiles and a mouldy shower curtain. If we used the air conditioning the patio was flooded with water. Breakfast was ample-plenty tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon and apples. We think they should make more of the local fruits. There were lemons and oranges growing in the grounds The cheese and ham was covered unlike the bread which was dry some mornings when we arrived. There was plenty of greek yogurt in the fridge. Pool was salt water and very pleasant to swim in. Snacks would have been very welcome during the day but nothing available. Taxis were needed to get around although we walked lots.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of June. Rooms are very basic but quite clean. Some have been modernised, others not yet! Air Con is sufficient & free of charge. Lighting isn’t good in the bathrooms and there is only one plug socket unless you unplug the TV at the top of the wall. Maria & Petro are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble & they are always on hand to assist! Breakfast is cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, cake & biscuits, with drinks. Simple but suffice! There are two restaurants within a five minute walk and both are reasonable and good! Perfect hotel for a quiet holiday, but if you want a bit more ‘life’, taxis or car hire are a must! Lovely little hotel with lots of potential!

Spent 1 week here at end of May /beginning of June. The hotel is located approximately a 30 minute walk from Argostoli (6 euros by taxi) in a lovely quiet area with fantastic views. The rooms are very clean with linen changed regularly; air conditioning is free. Petros and Maria are great.........extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Apart from a couple of minor niggles ( only one two slice toaster for everyone to share at breakfast and no shelf or hooks in the bathroom) we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful the pool area is great. The Fanari Road is a good location however there is no public transportation in the area so we had a hire car for the duration of our trip. The hotel reception will also call for a taxi if you require

A 25 minute walk from the centre of Argostoli, this place offers fabulous value with a small beach just 50 metres away. The pool was always spotless and well-provided with loungers. The rooms are functional but clean and (best of all!) air-conditioned. The hosts friendly and helpful. Although there is no restaurant, they are happy to arrange delivery for you :-)

Great friendly Hotel. Very relaxing settings. Maria and Pedro are great host's all the staff are very friendly even Rocco the dog. Nice clean and tidy rooms. Good swimming pool and seating area. Out side pool bar.

Great hotel, super friendly staff and good amenities. Basic but not in a bad way. Good value for money. Nice pool and easy to access town on foot or via a cab. Local restaurants close by and nice views away from the main area of argostoli. Would recommend.

comfortable room absolutely wonderful hosts petros and maria were exceptional hosts way beyond anything i expected, free wi fi breakfast supplied swimming and beautiful beach just across the road. although my wife and i say never again to the same place as we like to see lots of different places ,will definitely be back there next year. Maria and Petros are example of how great staff can make or break your experience. Very friendly and helpful with time to make a small chat with big smile on their faces with almost every guest! The hotel itself is nice and clean. The location is also good if you are looking for something near the city but in peaceful area.

Before I begin thank you Petros and Maria for the wonderful three weeks,oh and rocky. You will read in most reviews how homely and relaxing the hotel is believe me they're all correct if you're looking for laid back and relaxing you're looking at the right hotel. It's set near to fanari lighthouse in between lassi and argostolli when you walk out of the gates turn left this will take you to lassi, slightly hilly walk taking about forty minute steady walking on the way there's a hotel where you can stop for refreshments a little bit further on is Oscars restaurant which looks high class but is very good to eat at and the prices are no different from the others in the area.Turn right from the hotel and you're on the way to the capital Argostolli first you will come to the small headland with the lighthouse which would be nice for photos except for the mindless graffiti, next you will find the camp site and a restaurant out front, the food is very basic but good Johanna will probably greet you as you go by she can be off putting but is really ok along with Manos her hubby, there is another restaurant/bar next door which is just as good but watch the surcharges. Next is the waterwheel on the way to argostolli and just after that another restaurant called the vinearie we never ate in there but it's handy for a stop over, restaurant seemed very popular though.Forgot to mention it about 30 minutes to Argostolli this way but flat. Outside just across the road there are some small coves which are accessible with minimal effort and are brilliant to spend the day on in peace and quiet not much sand but the sea is sheltered by the cliffs and great to swim in,small beach around the corner next to campsite this is sandy though not large. Enough of the area you will find what you need. The bar is as most say help yourself and pay later or later or even later (petros),because you're bed breakfast, there are menus for the local takeaways behind the desk just ask for them and petros or Maria will order for you and are well worth the money. Taxis are about 10 euros to lassi and 6 to argostolli. Anyway if you are looking for peace and tranquillity I can recommend no better place book it while its still available you won't be sorry, Thank you again for the fabulous three weeks.
