I chose it for the price and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was... Big clean pool, fun restaurant with Jazz band, cushy seating outdoors, clean white bed with great pillows, good AC... It's kind of old, but I'd definitely stay here again. Could use a tub though... Shower only.

Was allowed to check in early because of special function I had to attend that day. Room was very nice and clean with microwave, mini fridge, iron with ironing board. The iron in the room was defective but a call to front desk remedied the situation quickly. When housekeeper arrived with iron, she also checked ironing board and replaced it's cover as well. On day of check out, I was able to do so by calling the front desk. This was my second visit to San Diego and this is my second stay at this motel.

Great time. Spent 5 days and you do what you want, they'll take care of the rest. Close to the beach and food.

The rooms are located outside so the noise level is high with cars moving up and down through the parking lot and the occasional driver obnoxiously sharing their loud music. Traffic to and from guest rooms also present a noise problem with outside entrance to rooms. Housekeeping carts also seemed unusually loud as they moved up and down the halls. One of the two queen beds in the room had a mattress with at least a 25 degree slant from side to side causing me to sleep on one side of the mattress only. Strangely enough I was still able to sleep well largely due to the spacious queen size of the bed. The staff was somewhat helpful but not overly friendly. My biggest complaint is the unusable internet service for the majority of my stay. All in all, I would only consider this property as one of my last choices in the future.

We were in San Diego for vacation. Had an early morning flight and were exhausted. They let us check in early. Which was great because we had a crabby kid. And the room was very clean. And inviting. We definitely will stay here again when we are in San Diego!!

No issues at all during my stay. Room was clean, staff was nice and price was good.

For the price we paid, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, and we didn't feel cramped. The shower heads were really low for like a 4 foot person. But that was really the only annoying thing to complain about considering how much we paid, we are happy with our choice.

I wasn't told about a $30 deposit that was due upon check-in (Which was a separate transaction from my total stay). The bathroom smelled horrible and found two bugs that first night. Also the walls were very thin that I unfortunately had to hear our neighbors having too much fun at two in the morning.

Fast check in and the staff was super friendly. Very clean and in a nice area close to restaurants and freeways. Loved it

I have stayed here three times, hoping my experience would improve, but it did not. The staff is great, but the Wi-Fi goes in and out, and the bed matress is like lying on a brick. I think I've learned my lesson to take my business to the Hampton Inn next door.

But the hotel is quite old, you can tell it is a cheap motel, but clean, room is big...

Very contemporary yet a taste of old San Diego. Grounds are well kept starting with the entrance lined with tall mature palms.

Was fine, needs a bit of an update/remodel. Was clean and taken care of - everything worked.

Room had the smell of cigarettes from back in the 60's! The bathroom had the smell of old cigarettes and a tinge of mold! TV was 15 feet away from the bed....hard to see. The bed was of low quality...and super soft. I stayed here years ago, and forgot how cheap and crappie the place was...last time..

I was in town for just one night so this hotel was a great match for me. It was very close to where I needed to go. The room was nice and the bed was great. My only thing was theTVs, for some reason some of the channels stopped working it was weird.

Rooms style look more to a motel style than a 3 star hotel. But clean and functional with fridge and microwave.

1st night noticed a couple ants in the bathroom, but by the fourth night the bathroom floor was covered in ants. Disgusting. I had to use a towel and get down on my hands and knees and wipe them up. It took several times of doing this to get to where we could walk in the bathroom without stepping on ants.

The hotel fit our needs- quite, close to the high way.

Front weekend staff. That means you Drake, needs to be less distracted, listen to the quests, offer solutions to quests, not just give free breakfast coupons out.

Room was nice. Exterior of building, including landscape could use some work
