Just passing through on a business trip and needed a bed for the night. This hotel is very very clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom and shower were clean. Would definitely stay here again! And the price was very reasonable!
We spent our last night of our trip here. We wanted to be past Kansas city for easy morning departure. The hotel is clean comfortable and safe. We had nice bed, many TV channels, and a good breakfast. Good location near a good pizza place.
We were just passing through on our trip. The lobby was clean and the receptionist was nice. Thank goodness she showed us how to use the shower ( pull down where the water comes out to use shower). Even though I was woken at 7am since LW forgot the instructions. lol Room was huge and had a whirlpool tub. We didn't use it, but it looked tempting. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Everything looked newer. They were putting in new carpeting in the hallway. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Waffles, yogurt, fruit... enough to satisfy anyone. It was a great stop for us.
When I asked the lady behind the counter for an additional towel, I was told I had to exchange a towel for a new towel. I explain to the lady I did not need to exchange a towel I needed an extra one, She was very impolite and said that I could not have an additional towel, we are only allowed to have 2. If you need an extra towel bring your own. I asked for a wakeup call for 6AM, in order to get up have breakfast and get ready for Church. I did not get a wake up call and the clock in the room did not work. I missed Church. I am glad I miss my flight back home or some else would be paying for the additional fee to change my flight. Bring your own clock. And talking about breakfast if you love biscuits and gravy this is your hotel, they served both days I was there. You really need to change it up.
We were here for the weekend while visiting KC. The room was ok, the staff was friendly and helpful, they were willing to give recommendations on places to eat and see. The first day they ran out of breakfast stuff but refilled it when asked, the last day they did a much better keeping it filled even though they were quite a bit busier. A little bit more about the room, some of the furniture was a bit worn, but not broken or anything. The edges of the room could use a good vacuuming next to the base boards. The bar that holds the shower curtain needs to be tightened and the end caps be put back on. It is an ok stay but not great. Even with these observations it is still a pretty good value for the dollar. Just don't expect everything to be perfect Your not paying Hilton prices so don't expect Hilton standards.
Very quiet place. Only 5 cars here when I checked in at 11pm. The facilities were clean and sufficient. The bathroom was your typical drop in plastic bath/shower but did the job. I would stay again. It's a good rest from the interstate and is completely quiet.
I booked adjoining rooms for my husband, myself and our 5 kids. I woke up around midnight with a BUG crawling on my pillow (room 218). We found a handful of bugs in the beds of one room before we were able to bag up our belongings (no way those critters were coming home with us). So, at 12:30 am we wake up all 5 kids and load up for home. We get here, strip everyone down, bathe them and get them back in bed around 2:30am. We spent the entire next day doing laundry and decontaminating luggage. The front desk personnel said that the manager was away at a conference and they'd TRY to get my room refunded. Well, almost a week later I got ahold of their manager. He insisted that there were no bugs in my bed, but agreed to refund one room because I called the health dept and he HAD to. I'm arguing with this man because there's NO way I was leaving my sleeping kids in one room while we vacated the other because of bugs. WHAT?!?! AVOID THE QUALITY INN IN KEARNEY AT ALL COSTS. Tell all of your friends! What a horrible way to treat people.
My wife and I stayed one night here. I was a bit worried from a couple of the reviews I had seen but the price was reasonable and the location was near I-35 and where we needed a nights sleep. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and comfy and I would try it again.
Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms with friendly, enjoyable staff. Provided entertaining shower spout demonstration (turn on/off). Convenient, easy to find location. Breakfast bar had wide array-only downside were fake eggs. Otherwise best night's sleep. You're a keeper for KC AREA.
20 miles from Kansas City so not exactly convenient. There was no plug in the washbasin, only one working light in the bathroom so it was dark and the TV did not work. I reported these faults after the first night but they were not rectified before I left after two nights.
