Conveniently located to shopping and groceries. However, our view was overlooking the Safeway and the busy street which meant we couldn't leave the lanai doors open to feel island breeze at night because the noise was too busy. Also, we could hear the gears of the elevator ANY time it moved... which is a lot. Eventually we got used to the sound, but it was a little off putting. The room was spacious and equipped with nice high end appliances. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The pool was nice. Parking access was easy and always available. Location is central to many popular spots on the island making it ideal for whatever your adventure holds in store.

Great place. Clean rooms, nice pool and Oasis is a fantastic restaurant.

Stayed in 2-bedroom ocean-view condo, H 203. Very friendly staff. Facility is old. The sofa-bed and the mattresses in both bedrooms are well beyond their useful life. Have hard time believing such a facility can command a premium price.

Beautiful rooms and perfect location. Good for honeymoon or family vacation. Staff very friendly

Everything was wonderful. Travelled with my family of 5 (children ages 14,12,7). Security guard, older man who was helping with the waterslide) was wonderful to my son with Autism. Only downside was dishwasher kept breaking down, otherwise everything was AMAZING!

Hotel location was perfect. Shopping centers and supermarkets were walking distance. Hotel staffers were very friendly, professional and promp to tend to our needs. The pool and spa was relaxing/awesome for the whole ohana! One slight drawback, the unit we stayed in, the AC keep shutting off when we were in the room. But, all in all, we had a great time.

We stayed here for 9 nights and absolutely loved the place, there was something for all ages. The rooms were well kept up and very modern, up to date. I enjoyed seeing the seals off the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge who helped us booked fabulous tours.

If you have a large family like us 6 people it's wonderful place to stay

This place worked great for our family of 5 with 3 young kids. Pool area was large and diverse. There is a grocery store complex directly across the street. Washer and dryer in the room, along with full kitchen. You clean your own room unless you want to pay an additional fee. The location is perfect for exploring all the best parts of the island.

It was very roomy and clean. Although our room was partially ocean view, it was nice as nothing was built close to block our sight and it was surrounded by the pretty garden. Every morning, we enjoyed our breakfast by the balcony. The super market, Safe Way, is right across the street, and apart of the high price, it was very convenient. We also found kids life jacket, floats, body boards, etc in the room to use. Last thing is that the restaurant by the swimming pool, Oasis, is very very good too. I highly recommend this place.

When I looked up romantic hotels for my honeymoon, this place came up at the top of the list. So I booked it excited to go once I saw the pictures online. I didn't realize people live there all year long, so they have some heavy rules about using the pool and other things. For one the lazy river which I was excited about so I could relax, was nothing more than some curves in the pool you could only walk in. We got yelled at for bringing in a blow up raft to float in and the lazy river ends, so it doesn't go in a circle. The view was amazing and the place was nice, but the furniture was uncomfortable to sit in, it made it so unrelaxing I couldn't believe it.

Great experience during trip with 2 toddlers. Booked a 2BD suite and they upgraded us to garden view. That was really nice surprise. The location is great and you can easily explore the whole island from Kappa. Safeway and Starbucks are right across the street and so are some of really great restaurants and coffee shops. Check in process was seamless and quick, this resort does not has room key but rather a code which actually is pretty neat. You don't have to worry about carrying room keys etc. Room s were luxurious, updated with stainless steel appliances, large bath tubs, showers dining area etc. Everything was very clean, kitchen was fully stocked and room even had its own washer and dryer :-) that came in really handy. Pool and water slides were amazing, kids had a lot of fun on those. There are only a few things I would highlight as caution. 1)The beach near resort was great for relaxing and ocean view but not fit for swimming 2) if you get great for mountain view rooms, you would be looking at shopping center on the other side of Road along with mountains 3) There is $12/day resort fee and about $115 cleaning fee that is not widely published and 4) Beaches around 10 mile of Kappa were ok, but not great. you will have to got towards Poipu or Hanalei to enjoy some great snorkeling beaches.I would recommend this resort to anyone staying with family or for a slightly longer trip.

Pack minimum: a set of dress clothes, swimming suit and a credit card! This was the third times we have stayed and have been recommending friends & family since our first trip.

Friendly staff, excellent rooms, next to a small private beach, restaraunt/bar on the beach. Only bad additional room service fee at end for cleaning, an if you want daily room cleaning, but free parking an no additional hotel fees, such a nice place its not much to complain about.

Fantastic!!! Nothing else to say. Could not have been a better place to stay.

Staff were incredibly helpful and the location of the resort was perfect. Being able to stay in Kapa'a put us right in the middle of the island in that we could drive to both the North side and South without too much of a crazy drive. Having grocery stores across the street was ideal with the condo style too, we were able to cook breakfast at the hotel and have snacks and drinks throughout the day. We had everything we needed, including beach access to see the sunrise every morning. Great place, would definitely stay here again!

Property was excellent and had all the features we wanted, good location, excellent pool, full kitchen and nice appointments. Staff was essentially not present and did not provide information that would have helped make our stay more pleasant. We would come back, but will surely check out other options when we return to Kauai.

The resort is nice for a family smaller than 2 adults and 4 little kids. We liked the pool with the slides but as soon as we walked in with swim noodles and an innertube we were immediately told that the GM informed the employee that they were no longer allowed in the pool. The lazy river starts at one end and dead ends at the other and no floaties to be lazy on were allowed. In the room: very thin glass cups that broke when I tap one on another glass in the dishwasher, very dangerous with little kids. The few plastic cup only held a 12 oz. with no ice. No adult glasses for margarittas/daquarris in the room. very fragile wine glasses. There was not a table that fit 6 people, 4 at a table and 2 at the coffee table everyday. Our garden view faced a parking lot and if you leaned really far over the outside and twisted your head you could see part of the garden. Not worth the money when someone else got a room there on a different website for $200/night and it was truly partial oceanview and ours was $315/night with a $62 cleaning fee. I would suggest anyone staying on the south side of the island like we have done for 16 years and wouldn't stay in the husle busle of Kapaa again, traffice is terrible and hearing ambulances and cops is hard for the kids to hear and keep asking about. Poipu and Koloa is much quieter, warmer and sunnier than Kapaa. I am not much for complaining but this is not a family friendly resort.

Our children had a great time at the pool. Restaurants and shopping were within walking distance. We loved the island and cannot wait to return!

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful kitchen. Our 1 bedroom had a large bathroom with 3 sinks and 2 toilets! Great having a washer and dryer right in the unit. Also had it's own water heater so no chance of running out of hot water. It was pretty quiet but on a few occasions the gardeners started their work too early. The only other issue was the bed was a bit too soft for our liking.
