Overall everything was great
The property is in a great, convenient location. The decor is unique and very cool, and tbe attached bar/restaurant was an added bonus. The only negative was that there was no coffee available at 7:30 on a weekend morning and there's no where that's easily walkable to get any.

I have always liked this Hotel however this time around we were in need of a suite that had the room separated from the living room or kitchenette. Jamesha stated those rooms were fully booked for the night, so we had no choice but to book another stay elsewhere. Which was fine but the next morning while checking my accounts for the previous night I found that Hotel Derek not only charged my $100 hold but an additional $220. When I called back and spoke to her about it she stated the charge was from Valet, a movie rental, and restaurant fee’s charged to the room. I asked her how was that possible if you checked me out 20 mins after I checked in. I don’t believe she checked me out at all and I think she may have been in kahoots with what ever happened. Her advice to me was to dispute the charges with my bank, but she did acknowledge remembering me and the room situation and stated she checked me out. If you drop the ball on a guest who stays there frequently the least you can do is be honest about your mistake. Because if it wasn’t a mistake then she gave the room key out on purpose. She mentioned on the phone that maybe someone picked it up off the counter when I gave it to her. I book at many 5star hotels and when something is being charged to the room someone always confirms the room number and name on the room and if that was given out then it is fraud and my information was given out purposely. cops will be involved if my personal information was given out. Wrong one!
I has to switch rooms three times, because the first two rooms were unclean and not sanitary. The tub/shower was wet, has hair in the tub, and it appeared like someone just showered.
The property was not clean. The was broken. The two nights we stayed it smelled to Marijuana. Breakfast is not included, you get charged 17$ for 2 american breakfast, they say the charge also included gym and pool. You have to pay 28$ for self parking for 24hrs. Front desk don't care about customer satisfaction. We were charged for 2 movies we never saw. Just be careful booking in this place.

Overall we had a great stay. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff very engaging.
The rooms are dirty and most of the hotels amenities where closed on a Sunday. I dont understand that some hotels dont have room cleaning service everyday. Also the ac is blowing right at the bed. When you call the front desk it is mostly a waiting list or it takes forever to ger a garbage emptied. I appreciate the hotel views and location. I just wished they would clean the rooms much cleaner.

Other than the location I can nit think of a good thing to say about the hotel. the staff wasn't friendly when I checked in I asked her to repeat the information about the confusion parking situation and she got a attitude and said just download the app to pay for it. what?! So Rude! I'm not for confrontation plus I had a late flight so I just said ok miss and walked away. The room was just ok. its was more of a motel feel than hotel in my opinion. the bathroom fixtures was old and the bath tub was peeling and dropping water all night with rust stains in the tub. the furniture was old, like from the 80's. this place need renovation badddd!!. plus the mini fridge lol was packed with things just taking ups space with over priced items which we just took out and place to the side. It was just a bad experience. the pool area is tiny BEWARE. The pictures online makes this place look wayyyyyyy better than it is. Let not even talking about paying $30 bucks a day for parking all the way on the 6th floor of a garage.. I will never go back LOL.
Bathroom tub water didn’t go down, bathroom tub faucet leaked all night.
the cleanliness in the bathroom was not up to the standard of 4 star hotel.The water in the shower was quite lacking. In the room next to mine tha had a door between the 2 rooms , they were smoking marijuana and the smell penetrated my room, having to put a towel on the floor to help prevent it from happening. Breakfast does not have many options
