Karolina Park Hotel & Conference Center3.0 out of 5.0

Hotel situated a good way from the centre of Vilnius close to the Television Tower. Reasonably sized room but a very small restaurant only taking about 60 people so you can only go at a certain time. The restaurant is on two floors with the kitchen on the 1st floor and all the food have to be carried down one floor by the staff and the dirty plates carried back up again. Set 3 course evening meal. and buffet breakfast. Tap water provided for evening meal or a waiter/waitress can bring you beer or wine. Rooms are of a reasonable size and the mattresses on the bed could do with a replacement soon so sleep was not so good. Internet was fair and easy access. The view from the room was of the Lidl supermarket and blocks of flats some of which were from the communist era so not a pleasant view. The hotel is favoured by coach parties and each evening there were five or six coaches there which made the situation in the tiny restaurant catastrophic. They need urgently to build a much bigger restaurant. At breakfast this was a big problem with terrible congestion in the tiny room and it was forbidden to take food outside and sit on the terrace from the 1st floor even if it was warm enough. The hotel is built on a slope which is why the terrace was from the 1st floor rather than from the ground floor and the restaurant is at the back of the hotel. Rooms on the front of the hotel were very noisy and it was impossible to have the window open. It only quietened down a little after midnight which meant sleep was limited.
Stayed overnight visiting family so just looked for a simple, inexpensive hotel and pleasantly surprised. Good size double room ( appeared to be recently renovated ) bathroom with plenty of pressurised hot water and basic toiletries, channel tv and fast wifi. Only disappointment was very limited breakfast although we were down to eat an hour before it closed .. nice setting and terrace, just a pity the staff did not replenish the hot dishes. An old fashion bowling centre in the cellar ( outside rear entrance ) .. what a laugh with uneven lanes and the pins were held on strings, but I bowled the best set of 3 games ever. Pleasant outside environment with a woodland walk to the rear with tennis courts and small urbanization with a couple of supermarkets and cafeterias in the vicinity.
Although a three-star hotel, it deserves a bit more. The building is large and well-kept, it is located near the TV tower. Our room was also spacious and well furnished. We could have used a luggage rack, but you can't have it all. The bathroom was large, with a bath tub. There was no air condition, just a big fan. Fortunately, it was not hot. Dinner was served and very tasty. As for the breakfast, the choice could have been better, but on the whole, there was enough food. My experience would probably have been different if it had been hot outside. But it was pleasantly warm. And there was a flea market on Saturday morning right beside the hotel, quite interesting.
I come here for the conferences twice a months. Nice and friendly staff, a lot of space, simple interior. Food choice (during conferences) is not wide, but food is tasty and fresh, served piping hot. Nice place
Karolina Hotel is great with its location easy to reach Litexpo exhibition hall by car or 40 min walk. Very good because first 2 times my electronic key just didn't work. Otherwise staff is very helpful and friendly. Man at the desk helped to find place to have a dinner late at evening. Rooms are clean, bathroom reminds a little bit of Soviet times, but also clean. One small closet would be nice o have in room to store a clothes, but there were hangers enought ir corridor where to hang a cloths and jackets. On two floors enjoyable painting exhibition and nice restaurant. For breakfast I would recommend to have a bigger plates so we can enjoy your tasty pancakes. :) Close to hotel is Vilnius TV tower located. Can enjoy nice meal with 360 degree view.
Hotel is far from the city centre, there is nothing around here but Lidl. Our room was dirty, there were old cocacola and whiskey in the fridge, toiletpaper on the floor etc. Sofa was hard, and sofapillows and you fell on the floor when you sat on it. Room smelled bad, everything was dirty and old. Staff was nice.
I have been in this place many times fo Watsu sessions. Watsu is water terapy/massage. It's not most cheepest what you might get in town but one of most to remember. So about hotel- I haven't stay fo a night but stuff in reception is really polites and willing to help. Reatourant is hi quality food, quite formal interior but very silent. So if you in a hotel check possibilitie to experience Watsu :o) Petras
Good value hotel. Staff very helpful. A long way from the City Centre but the bus ride is only €1 each way. Good WIFI, great showers, good breakfast included in the price but no air conditioning, which was a problem in the hot weather. Ideal location for visiting the radio tower. When I visit again I will stay in the City and reduce the travel.
There is no aircondition, no safebox. It was very hot in june, we coulndt sleep. There was a primitive airscrew.be careful there are no nets on the windows.we had to stayed closed. We killed 4-5 mosquitos and there are also spiders waiting to come in behind the window. It is quite old fashion hotel on the other hand beds and bathroom are very clean.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Vilnius, within walking distance of the TV tower. It is a conference hotel, and is clearly best suited for this. The rooms are nice, but not great. We got a two-room suite with four beds (2 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of space. The room was very clean.
