wallpaper coming off the walls, tub not draining (asked twice with no results) and average cleaning

This hotel has a lot of potential but needs work! Our air conditioner in our room was broke and was told by front desk staff they were sorry for the inconvenience so needless to say it was 76 degrees in the room. There was no ambient noise in the room which made everything in the hall louder. The shower made a very high pitch squealing noise when you turned on the shower. There were no towels at the pool. The buffet was supposed to open at 7am and done of the restaurant staff was coming in at 7 so buffet wasn't full functional till around 710 which made us late leaving for an 8am college visit.

Overall good although loud air conditioner interrupted sleep

They have done some remodeling but the age of the place really stands through. The first room overlooked the parking lot and it was really noisy and our HVAC fan had a busted bearing so it was squealing. We moved to another room and HVAC did not even work. They could not fix it and offered to move us again. We stayed because The temp was bearable. It overlooked the atrium, bar and breakfast area so it was only noisy until 10pm and at the start of the 7am breakfast.

We picked this hotel for three reasons, 1. It has a restaurant 2. It has a pool and hot tub 3. It is close to Worlds of fun which was our reason for coming to KC We didn't check in until 7pm and the restaurant was closed but the bar was open which was fine for us to eat there but as we sat down the bartender informed us that they had ran out of several items on the menu. The food was fine that we ended up ordering but would've probably ordered something else if they would have had the 'ran out' items on hand The pool closed for cleaning as my son and I walked down to get in it the only thing open was the hot tub, as my son is only 10 yrs old we weren't able to stay in the hot tub long, We were up half the night due to every time someone ran water we could here the pipes, very loud. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. It was however close very close to our destination so I cant complain about that. But all and all next year we will more than likely stay somewhere else.

We live in Des Moines so decided we wanted to come down the night before the Chiefs game. The hotel was clean but the amenities really didn't open until later in the afternoon. We were also surprised the shower water would not get as warm as we would have generally liked. It was nice to have the Waffle House in front of the hotel for breakfast. Also, the location was very convenient for getting to the Chiefs game quickly and easily. It would have been nice to have some suggestions in the hotel binder for restaurants nearby. Overall it was an okay experience. Staff was nice.

I was not impressed at all with this hotel. Luckily we were just spending one night to avoid driving after attending a concert. It looked like they had updated the decor but failed to updated anything else. The ceiling tiles need replaced in the bathroom, the wallpaper needs to be redone, the bath tub faucet needed repair, floor tiles needed replacement, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the air conditioner would wake you out of a dead sleep with the rumbling and rattling, and I could keep going on.

All the staff was great I have nothing bad to say about them. The breakfast great as well. The location was easy to find and close to everything I wanted to visit (Legoland and arrowhead stadium both within a 15 min drive). Now with the bad parts about this stay. One of the beds in the room any time you moved on it you could hear all the springs popping in it. And the other thing now a days everybody has about 3-4 devices with them on every tri they go on. The problem was that none of the outlets would hold the charger in. If you would move the cord just slightly it would fall out. That was on every outlet except for the one in the bathroom. On the other hand their freindliness and responsiveness was beyond great. I had a blast in the bathroom go out and within 3-4 minutes they where at my door and after they figured out it was abalast it took them about 15-20 minutes to change it out.

Needed a place to stay after a baseball game. This was a very nice hotel for the price. Clean and comfortable. Easy access off of I-435. Not a scenic area but we were not going to be going out. Very quiet inside and out. Staff was very courteous and friendly.

We took a quick trip to KC to go to Worlds of Fun. The hotel is just down the road very convenient. The room was okay. The ac blew directly on the bed so it was uncomfortable- but all in all I would stay there again just not in that room!

The rooms were not cleaned correctly. . Mold on shower curtin. .. breakfast crew rude ... breakfast room hot ....should not be connected to pool..... poor service

If you r traveling with family's, make sur to bring comforter for sofa bed if you choose that type of room as mattresses are worn out. Was also charged three different prices for the same beer on different days. Lounge staff is either long their pockets or really just don't know. Only restaurant is the Waffle House which was good

The hotel was great. Close to the waterpark. The kids referred to this as the white house and did not want to leave. The pool was awesome and we had a blast.

we were in town to go to worlds of fun. it was a close hotel with all the extras. the restaurant has delicious food and friendly staff.

Overall the hotel was okay. There were a few areas where cleaning could be done. Value was good. Location was good. Bkft is $8.00 pp if you don't have it included and it's not worth it! The selection was okay but the quality of food was just not there. Make sure you get your bkft coupons upon check in, we didn't and almost got charged for it. I would stay here again, but only if no other place was available or the price was much lower than neighboring hotels.

For the price and location, this was a great stay. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. Our room was freezing when we walked in but otherwise everything else was great. I would stay here again.

This is a good place to say if you are traveling out of MCI airport. Far enough away to be comfortable but you can quickly get to the airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable, easy to access and the staff were friendly.

The pool and hot tub definitely need a good cleaning. The hot tub had scuzz sitting in the water and that made us leary of the pool. The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was OK but the bathroom was VERY small and cramped. I kept hitting my elbow on the handicap bar in the shower. The rooms are in serious need of updating. The air conditioner is terribly loud. They don't have regular cable channels (no Disney channel). There was dust and trash behind the nightstands. Breakfast was not complimentary - seriously - get with the times. I don't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel that DIDN'T have complimentary breakfast.

The pool pictures deceived us... We were not impressed with the hotel. The non smoking rooms smell like smoke. It's old. The elevators were broken. The pool is just ok... It's big but just ok. Won't go again.
