I was on the first floor which I had requested, but later regretted because there were some VERY loud partyers who made the last night unsleepable. Breakfast was lack-luster, but the coffee was hot. The handicapped bathroom was a laugh. All they had done was put in some hand rails. The room was kept clean and neat, and the desk staff very friendly.

Bad smell, badic breakfast with hair in waffle mix.

There was no coffee in the morning. The dispenser was out of coffee. The young lady on duty apologized, but seemed to have no ability or authorization to refill the dispenser. This was at 7:05 in the morning. Breakfast began at 7:00.

No gym, no laundry, old facility. Needs a bad face lift. Trashy and dirty outside

Ice and worried about weather. Was surprised at the quality, it is not as nice as some of them we have stayed in. A good value for our money and we just got up and left down the scary icy roadway. For a late night stop and an early get up and go it was fine.

Staff nice, room clean. Could hear everything from our room; hallway, people in their rooms, dogs barking. Decent breakfast. Our room wasn't cleaned once during our three day/night stay.

Great comfortable beds breakfast good be little better

Great location near downtown. Room met all basic requirements. Pillows were a little lumpy. It was clean though. Breakfast was decent.

You can hear a ton of noise that comes from the hallway. We woke up at 7am& were able to hear very clear loud voices. & most of the time it wasn't people yelling , they were using normal voices & we could still hear them & made it hard to sleep. Other than that it's a good affordable hotel next to WOF & downtown with Dennys & a gas station nearby , walking distance.

Unsavory location, outside of hotel looked good. Lobby wasn't too bad and staff was very polite and helpful as well as friendly. Common hallway was not very clean and smelled. Room was not very clean, no kleenex, no trash can liners. One roll of toilet paper had been set in what was hopefully coffee but still should have not been used but was installed in one of the toilet paper holders. Bath tub looked dirty, floor of bathroom was dirty. Amenities were non existent - no refrigerator or microwave in room - disappointing because you kind of count on that. Most hotels these days have both. Beds were clean but extremely uncomfortable and provided the smallest bed pillows that I've seen in years. Room had no sound proofing, as gap under door was enough so that you heard every movement in the hallway and my companion and I agreed that it was a good thing that our room wasn't next to the elevator as that would have been worse. We did not partake in the free breakfast...

From the time we walked in to the hotel, I knew we were doomed! The hotel was old, dirty, smelly and not well maintained. The picture on the web sight was very deceiving. The elevator smelled like furniture polish, and when we got to the room, it smelled as if someone had been smoking. I sat down on a chair and happened to look under the bed and saw old french fries. We were immediately moved to another room which was better, however. the bathtub was disgustingly filthy. We had paid in advanced so unless we wanted to loose our money we stayed. We received a wake up call at 5:30 which we did not ask for. Needless to say, we got up anyway and left. This had to be the worst hotel I ever stayed in.

Great Hotel! No problems. Traveled with a dog and never experience any difficulties getting a room with a pet. I would always chose La Quinta hotels for my trips.

Manager and desk clerk were very helpful and outgoing. Breakfast quite good / room very quiet and clean. The hotel is a little older and could use a face-lift. All-in-all, a very positive stay.

Very clean and good feel for the money. Nice staff.

Good staff, clean nice rooms, best value really in KC but should offer a better weekly rate for those who stay for longer than s few days.

Upon arrival I was the only one in line and it took over 10 minutes to check in. I was given a room that had not been cleaned so I had to return to the front desk to ask for a clean room. Staff acted like they really didn't care, the manager was eating at the front desk while it took over 10 minutes to check me in. The rooms were fair value for $75. Bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms are dated. Room is worth about $60 per night no more.

Stayed here for one night and it was okay, staff was friendly, a little too pricy, but overall it was a good stay.

Smell like smoke also need some updated and fresh paint.

We were there only one night! It was clean staff was super nice and it did the job for us! Only bad thing no pool kids!

Weekend getaway to explore downtown KC. This hotel was great because it was close to the downtown area without the cost. I would recommend it.
