I got there around 6pm. Terrible parking lot, not a very good crowd hanging out in various areas of the parking lot. Room was dirty, old, no remote for old tv, not what was expected from the travel site used. Felt weird leaving my car for very long. Someone made a comment about my car while I was going into the hotel to check in. Only cost me $40, I consider it a lesson learned. Went back in my car and called around found another hotel to stay at. paid $130 more for the night but i felt at ease. Something I didn't feel here. DO NOT STAY HERE. You will be sorry.

It was pretty cool , nicer than what I expected. I wish the pool was open & the hotel is sort of confusing.

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Lobby was sparse, with plexiglass limiting access to front desk. Open lobby windows to let in air, without screens. Gap in room door. Only deadbolt key lock. No glasses for water. Room was dingy.

I booked this hotel and when I arrived could not believe this place is stop open. When I went to check in to the hotel I opened the door to an terrible odor and stained carpet and stains on the wall. The lobby was freezing and the words no refund are posted on the wall. Had a drunk person bump into us in the hall and some thugs in the parking lot yelling at us. We left and couldn't stay in the hotel. The owner stated he can not contol what happens at the hotel that is why they wouldn't give a refund. Pictures of the hotel must have been taken several years ago!

Run away as fast as you can. Drunks passed out in the lobby, no air conditioning.

We went for business and pleasure. The first night we were there we woke up to someone knocking at our door and then slaming another one. The next morning when I walked to the lobby to got a soda from the machine there was a woman passed out drunk in a chair in the lobby. There was no air conditioner except in the room, so it was steaming hot when you walked into the hall and lobby. There was nasty messages scratched into the paint on the bathroom door. The only good thing about this place is that the lady at the front desk was very accomodating. We got there an hour early and she still let us check in and she was very helpful in helping me fax something.

Room was clean. But chairs were stained. Ac was not working in the halls or lobby. Room ac was ok. We had it turned down as low as it would go. Nothing really around hotel. Groups of teens were hanging out in the parking lot. Which made us worried about our car. [...] said hotel was 6 miles away from arrowhead. It was 15 miles away and taxi service was going to be 40 dollars each way. We went to kc for a concert at arrowhead

This hotel is a mess. It has nice pictures but it is one of those hotels that people live in. The hallways smelt like pee. The room wasnt bad nor the pool. It had lots of kids in it. No microwave or fridge. The ice machine didnt work either. There is only one person staffed per shift. This is a you get what yo pay for type of hotel. Almost all African Americans.

Hotel was out in the middle of what we thought used to be a bustling area but was now a ghost town. There were several hotels in the area that were closed down and boarded up. There was also a huge mall, including movie theatre, that looked as though it used to be great but it was completely abandoned and there was nothing there. The only thing opened or around for at least ten miles was a gas station, Macdonalds, and a car dealership across the street. The hotel has it's own website which is very decieving. They boast spacious rooms, conviently close to everything you'd want to do in KC, a pool, and Conntinetal breakfast. Really, none of it is true aside from the pool. When you pull up, it looks all run down and broken down. In addition, when you walk into the lobby it is hot and smelly as there is trash bags full of stuff sitting in the hallways. It used to be a Ramada as all of the stuff says Ramada on it. The Ice Machine doesn't work most of the time and there IS NO CONNTENIENTAL BREAKFAST!!! There sign said daily and weekly rates and it appeared that many who stayed there were actually LIVING there as there was laundry drying on balconies and people hauling huge trash bags out of their rooms and leaving them in the hallway. several times, we had to go to the front desk and have our key reset as it wouldn't work in the door. when we first got there it was very hot in our room and didn't properly cool off until the next day. There was glass in front of the front desk which seemed to protect the receptionist from harm. Our kid's word for this hotel is GHETTO! The room was clean each day and we slept ok but were afraid for our safety and the safety of our stuff. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS HOTEL'S WEBSITE AND REALIZE THAT THERE IS NO FREE BREAKFAST as advertised. Remember.... when your paying only 35 dollars a night this is what you get!

In all the years I have been traveling I have never seen a motel/hotel as bad as this place. The first thing I noticed upon entering the lobby was the terrible smell of mold and mildew. The carpeting was dirty and old beyond belief. Burnt out light bulbs and cracked glass on the entrance doors told the whole story. Only reason I checked in was because I had been traveling all day and due to flight delays arrived there a few minutes before midnight. Walking up the stairs I could not help notice the cracks in the ceiling and the green mold patches in the corner of the stairs. The room smelled of dirty carpet and mildew. There was an old tv set with about 10 channels. NO internet access of any kind. There was mold actually growing on the inside of the light fixtures next to the bed, which I took pictures of. I reluctantly spent the night there and checked out in the morning. I wanted to file a complaint and speak to the manager but the only employee I could find on duty at the desk did not know when the mananger would be back. In my opinion the place should not even be in business, since in my opinion it is uninhabitable.

I arrived late at night and the area didn't look very safe. When I asked the hotel clerk if the area was safe he said, "Well... I would park your car in the front where I can see it." There were shady characters hanging around, the balcony door was open in my room allowing access from the outside, and then I couldn't even lock it b/c the lock was busted off! The head board was busted & crooked on the bed. The entire hotel was shady. I didn't even stay 5 minutes before asking for a refund. That was the only good thing, the clerk gave me a full refund and I could leave to find another hotel that was safe.

not very clean shower kept changing temp no heat to turn on did not receive housekeeping everyday had to ask for it

Freindly staff, clean rooms. Need little bit work done, but it was not too bad at all.

it was in a part of town that looked like every thing closed up shop and left there were people in the parking lot smoking and had there loud radios cranked up. the sheets were blood stained and had cigerret burns in a non smoking room the doors didnt lock they were broken off the wall the head board fell of the wall in the middle of the night there was no cable. the desk clerk was more interested in texting than to help me. needs a ton of remodeling. and to top all that off the cops were there in the morning when i checked out with the patty wagon. the location was the only thing that was good it was next to the 435 and everything i needed was 5-10 miles down that highway. if it was the only unfilled motel left in KC would be the only way i would stay there again. pay the extra money get a better place than this

"You get what you pay for" is appropriate. The door to my room had been kicked in at some point. The air conditioner leaked on the floor so the carpet was soaked. There were no local TV channels. I would have been better paying more for a better hotel!

It was awful, the website was deceiving, seemed like a great family getaway for a weekend, but was awful, the whole place smelled of cigaretts.
