Unprofessional staff. Homeless sleeping in the parking. Lot. Old and run down facility

Hotel was nothing like photos shown when booking. Dirty sheets, broken lights, broken window, beds were supposed to be queen size but were full size. Poor condition of whole hotel. So bad that I did not stay and booked a room at a different hotel with no compensation from the previous. Will never receive my business ever again.

For $95 a night, I expected much more. The phone and wifi did not work, no shower gel or shampoo available, and I almost stepped on a rusty old safety pin I found on the carpet. Oh and did I mention that the room smelled funky?

Seemed to be clean but outdated. Take the stairs; elevator was sketchy. Definition of a "cheap hotel".

Downtown KC hotels sell out fast on the weekends. We only could get a smoking room, which I thought couldn't be that bad. I woke up smelling it. Was in my pores. Our blankets and she's both had burn holes all in them. Shower is tony but the part you stand in looked like had never been clean. Maybe the non smoking rooms were better. The mirror wall seemed seedy to me. Just will avoid this on the future. I'm pretty low maintenance but felt afraid to touch blankets above sheet and everything felt ew. Even lampshade was all dirty and messed up. Spend the extra and go somewhere else. I will say the 2 different employees at front desk seemed very nice and guy on duty during the morning was quick to make fresh coffee etc. They get good stars.

The main reason I got this hotel is for the location close to downtown. The staff wasn't the nicest, the room had poor lighting, stiff beds, few amenities, and was outdated. Only thing going for it was that it was one of the cheapest in the area.

The picture of the website is incorrect. There is no lawn. It had prostitutes on benches outside and wandering halls during night. The room was filthy, TV, and Alarm clock did not work. Many safety hazards throughout the room. I have never been to Kansas City so was not familiar with location. I will never stay at one of these motels again.

Best deal in town! If you need a place to sleep and not much else. Nice staff and clean beds.

Convenient, cheap, a little sketchy neighborhood, but the staff were nice and maintain a good place.

No frills motel, but not a bad place to stay. Had no problems, motel is old and tired. Could use new bathrooms and beds.

This hotel was well below average. Bedding and décor were from the 70's and showed the wear. The room did not feel very clean. Walls were dirty, shower was disgusting and my shoes stuck to the bathroom floor. After checking in I tried to call another hotel to stay somewhere else without success due to the volume of people in town for the game. We decided to suck it up and slept in our clothes and did not shower in the morning.

I reserved a non-smoking room but, they had only stinky smoking rooms left, the desk clerk said he would have the carpets sprayed but never did. The Continental breakfast was very disappointed, there was a cockroach in the room, the furniture looked very cheap, the sofa had stains all over, the whole building was in very poor condition

We want a non-smoking room but was not available at that time, so the smoking room was very terrible that we can't sleep all night. We found a insect, the smell a cigar in the room is awful.

Avoid this place. Decent area, ideally-located near downtown, and cheaper than most other nearby hotels, but is definitely one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Partial list of issues: cockroaches in room, phone to front desk doesn't work (they never picked it up after 10+ calls over 4 days), non-smoking room smells of mixture of animal urine and smoke, hallways smell HEAVILY of smoke, stains/hair on sheets and towels, numerous holes in walls filled with unfinished calk, uncomfortable bed, disposable lotion & shampoo bottles were half used on arrival, toilet seat was unclean and heavily stained, could not connect to internet the entire time, old band-aid held the cover of the TV remote on, iron leaked water all over the clothes, indifferent staff, some interesting residents (not in a good way), and seems like nothing has been replaced for 20+ years. Listed photos are deceptive-- may have been accurate years ago but the place has fallen to a state of severe disrepair. So... yeah, stay away.

We came to town for a show at the Midland. Only needed the room for sleep, didn't linger long there. The location was super perfect especially for the price! They do not have hair conditioner so do not forget to bring your own!

We were in town for our friends bday and this was a great place for 8 people to crash in 2 rooms for under $200. I will definitely stay there again :-)

The hotel staff was very rude, not helpful at all. The hotel was VERY old, run down and smelled. When we pulled the bedding back, there were stains and hair on the sheets. We did not stay at this hotel, we were thankfully able to find another hotel.

We just needed a place to stay while in town for three days for the Chiefs game. Room wasn't spectacular but it did the job.

It was creepy. And too small of a room. And that cigarette smoke smell.

Closest cheap hotel to power and lights. I didnt want to spend $250 for a fancy hotel in the same area so we stayed here. If youre not going downtown id stay at another hotel farther away thats nicer for the same amount of money. Overall decent one night stay.
