Booked room for june 10th on a week before the stay. Left the concert pretty late and got to the hotel around 1 am. When i went in to get my room key the lady at the front desk told me that they had not heard from me and refunded my credit card and gave my room to some one else with no rooms avalible.. I went to the hotel across the street and luckly got a room there. After i got my room i then drove to the gas station and was stopped by police offices that said the lady at the front desk said i was a drunk. I wasnt drunk so the police let me go but it was an inconvience for than anything. Will never stay at a micro inn again because of this experence

The staff was helpful and the room was what you would expect for the rating. Overall good experience.

We arrived at about 9pm and the woman behind the desk didnt even say hello to me. I checked in, and i understand the smoking rooms arent going to smell great, but as soon as we exited the elevator the entire 3rd floor smelled of cigarettes. The carpet was torn and missing a chunk right outside the elevator door. Every room number was held on by a different kind of tape and were stuck hap-hazardly wherever on the door they felt like. There was blue painter tape and masking tape and duct tape and electrical tape. We get to our room door and notice the room next to use doesnt even have a door handle....We go inside and first thing i notice is the carpet is filthy. i couldnt tell if it was supposed to be green or red or brown... i sat down at the desk and within 3 mintues i had a FLEA bite on my leg. i actually caught the little bugger so i know it was a flea. ten minutes later i got another one....at that point it was already after 9 pm so i just went to bed, which had clean sheets but the bed skirt and box spring were stained yellow and gross. Needless to say i will never book a microtel hotel again.

The room was ok for the price. I would ld have to say it this way. You get what you pay for.

Room stunk, sockets hanging out wall, carpet had holes, bed had springs popping thru, sprinkler was detaching from ceiling, tiles busted in bathroom, lights had bulbs out.

Inexpensive hotel, yet remains a notch above average

This hotel is close to the interstate hightway yet it's still very quiet at night. I had a good stay here and would come back.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed.! The place was literally falling apart. Tiles missing from the bathroom floor, sink falling off the wall, shower curtain rod coming out of the wall.. No hair dryer, no coffee pot. This room should not have been given to anyone, just from a safety factor alone. Stay at your own risk should be included in the room description, as well as recent photos of the rooms. Be warned.....stay somewhere else.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were great, it was quiet, and it was right for the price. The location is great because you can easily get places such as the malls and restaurant, and the local buses to get around Concord/kannaplois and Charlotte. I do wish the hotel was a little more clean. They needef to pay more attention to the smaller details like the walls, and air fresheners for the smoking rooms. But the beds were clean, they always had fresh towels and sheets, so i can't complain. Even the comp. breakfast wasn't half bad

The first clue that this would be an unpleasant stay was the "B" rating from the health department posted in the lobby. Then when we got to the room, there was stuff peeling from the ceiling, cigarette burns on the edge of the tub (in a "non-smoking" room), the pillows and bedcover were shot... if we hadn't prepaid for the room as part of a package, we would have left immediately, and unfortunately didn't have time to deal with it.

It was a small and nomal inn. I stayed here since it was near with my work place.

Staff was Nice and friendly. Good location. Beds need to have more pillows. There wasent many tv channels to choose from and the channels we did get was not very good. The price was good.

Hotel was under renovation, with construction going on all weekend until around 7 pm. Breakfast was set up late and taken down early. Also, Breakfast once set up was never replenished.

First of all - the staff was great. Courteous, helpful, and friendly. The rooms, hallway, elevator were in pretty bad condition. Carpets dirty and wrinkled in all areas - looked to be water damage. Beds were too hard, blankets had burn marks in them, but were clean. TV remotes did not work-got new batteries from staff, no change. Okay for one night, but wouldn't stay there more than that.

I was pleased with my stay at this hotel! It is right off I85 w/plenty of restaraunts, shopping centers, etc so cant beat location! Rooms were small but very clean & comfortable! Doesnt have a pool, room service, etc so if ure into that, this is not the spot! & while the rooms, bathrooms, etc were clean...the lobby, hallways, & outside of hotel (bushes, etc) could have been better! All for all i was pleased with what i got for what i paid!

Very dirty. Needs new carpet. Only good for a carshow weekend. Would never take the wife here.

3.5 STARS Rating. After reading the reviews for this hotel, I admit I was a bit hesitant about staying at this Microtel. However, despite the fact that the hallway & elevator carpets are in need of a really good cleaning (or replacement perhaps), our stay here was actually enjoyable. The room was clean & the beds & bedding were very comfortable. The staff was friendly & the free continental breakfast was fresh, included several different breakfast items, & was a nice amenity for travellers who don't have time to stop elsewhere for breakfast food.

This hotel was nothing special, but good for the price...really cannot complain, would stay here again.

Less that friendly staff, very very minimal amenities. You can literally see through the towels, no shampoo, no iron or ironing board, only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel. IT was reasonably clean, if not well worn, and was in the right place for the right $$.

very nice motel hot water heater went out so we didnt have hot water, but they knocked price half price so we made due. very clean
