This property was big enough to accommodate 4 people. Since I had only booked for Airlines ticket through Orbitz for my wife and 3 year old daughter, the Hotel booking also by default took that information. I also didn't pay much attention for minor difference since knew the room was big enough. Though after reaching the Owner saw the difference and didn't believe to my explanation. She charged whooping 84 Swiss Francs for extra Adult. We didn't ask for any extra bedding and the Hotel didn't have to do anything extra. We were also out for visiting most of the time. In my view the Hotel took unfair advantage of the situation and 84 Euros additional is totally unfair. In US, Las Vegas you can book a 5 star hotel in this rate.
Amazing views from the rooms. Breakfast was lovely. Parking very convenient. A short (but steep) walk to the town area. Overall, a nice place to stay.

The location is very close to the Grindelwald station and just need to climb about 5 mins. Every room has a spectacular view. The stuffs were gracious and courteous.
This hotel was our favorite in a two week trip throughout Europe. The view from the balcony is spectacular! The rooms are comfortable. It's a short walk downhill from the hotel to the train station. It seems a lot longer going up! There is a grocery store in town. You have to go to the Jungfraujoch. Take one of the first two morning trains for 135 Francs instead of 190 Francs if you take a later train. We also recommend the Harder Klum in nearby Interlaken.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and the food was very good. It was in a central location, just a 5 minute walk down to the village and train station. And the view was out of this world!
The hosts were exceptional. They answered all of our questions and guided us to what we needed for a hike and for shopping. The washing maching wasn't working properly so they did it for us, they even provided a drying rack.
