Motel is old and outdated, no where near the centre of town. rooms smelt luckily we brought out on linen as we were a bit iffy about using theres. you get what you pay for. management was nice enough - wouldn't stay again.
This motel is a 30 minute walk from the Main Street, lake is visible from up high. The motel is dated - it's post The Shining but with more noises than even that haunted hotel brings!!! Limited kitchen / crockery, no washing up liquid or tea towels. A bathroom that is colder than walking into your freezer (which is odd as this is the place you need to get naked!) Air conditioner louder than a jet plane but needed to stop you freezing to death, the bin still had rubbish in from the last guest.
Tucked up on the hill away from the main esplanade made for a cosy little motel tucked off the highway. Staff friendly on arrival. When we got to our room we opened the door and initially there was a musty old smell however this went away within a few minutes. Everything in the room was clean, the spa and bathroom were clean, the beds were quite comfy and a large TV. Air con worked well, electric blankets worked well. Is it old? Yes Does it need a facelift? Yes But Did it feel safe? Yes Was it clean? Yes Convenient location? Yes Would I stay again ? Yes This motel is not the Hilton but it is clean, functional and quite comfortable Room 19- Spa room
Motel at top of hill looking over lakes. Rooms comfortable with massive big screen television. Good pool area with barbie and view. Breakfast was in lovely clean restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff at the reception was as if she couldn't care the door was locked. I had to ring the office for someone to let me in to pay for our room We opens the room door and the smell just hit you in the face it was horrible, the tv wouldnt work the girl from the office came reluctantly and tried but it wouldnt work ,my. Husband fixed it by taking out the aerial We used a whole can of glen 20 in the room to no avail we stayed one night there were motor bikes up and down the road and police too We left the next day do not stay there cheap and nasty
Easy check in, room on the ground floor with security gate, good tv. Bathroom a bit old fashion but ok. A garden by the swimming pool and a bbq. Breakfast included, toasts and marmalade so it's good to get away with not an empty stomach.
We had previously stayed here when it was known as Econolodge Motel a few years ago so this time we thought we would stay again, it was only for one night as we were passing through on our way to Adelaide. A lovely surprise on arrival, must be a change of owners, the lady on reception was very welcoming and happy, and informed us that a FREE continental breakfast was also included in the nightly rate of $79.00 for a double room. Rooms are quite old fashioned but very clean and comfortable, large flat screen tv had been installed since our last visit, large shower, Bed was very comfortable, and slight ocean views from our room (7) Would definitely stay again Thank You
This seemed to be the cheapest motel in Lakes Entrance, but it is a gem. It's a few minutes drive out of town, but compensates by having great views over the lakes and beach and by being very quiet. The receptionist was friendly and the room was clean and of a good size. The $85 room rate even included a basic breakfast (which I can't specifically review because I left very early).
Great views from the top of the cliff. Staff were friendly, and courteous, Rooms are typical motel size, best thins is the large screen TV's, Shower was all over the place (hot one minute, cold the next) Slept well, although the bed is a little too soft for my liking. But overall had a pleasent time, and Breakfast was included as well.
i begin to say that this accomadation for what it is is orth $50/$60 a night and not the $185 we payed for a spa unitjust becoz its xmas dont take advantage of ppl if u cant deliver the goods, the only good thing about this room was the tv was huge thats about it ,me personally i got sucked in by booking .com for what they advertise but didnt deliver the goods.i wont be staying there again unles its $30 a nyte and just needing a bed not for the start of my holidays has put a real dampner on my holidays needs complete revamp and then wood be something and as for breakfast un hygenic the way the let ppl handle the food, the staff not proffesional at all dirty scruffy clothes they wear and as for signage i missed the turn off as well first thing she told us wifi might not work and telstra wont be out to fix it till late january not our problem u advertise it we want it but lucky for them it worked.
