The location was convenient. I called 4 days before check in to ask if the hottub was open. The manager said yes. When i checked in, it was not. And the same "Closed due to Covid" sign was on the door that was there 5 months previously. When i confronted the manager about it he spoke to me in what i perceived to be a disrespectful manner. He placed the blame on me for not identifying myself. He refused to even attempt to offer ANY sort of compensation. Then he had the audacity to ask me to not give him a bad review. Five hours later the hottub was full and hot, but the jets did not work. There was a note taped to the switch so he was COMPLETELY aware of the problem, but did not disclose it at my check in time. In my room there is a light duty extention cord permanently connecting the TV power cord to the electrical outlet. I believe this is considered to be a FIRE HAZARD that the Fire Marshall might be interested in. In order to plug in the desk lamp i had to unplug either the microwave or the refrigerator.
spa was out of order the hold time. breakfast was poor very small.
The room we we're put in smelled like cat pee. They were gracious enough to put in in their "nice" room, the fitted sheet was upside down, and there were long hairs all over it.
Because we are senior citizens we request a first floor room. When we arrived at this fairly empty hotel, there were like 12 cars there we were told there would be a additional $10 room charge for 1st floor room. This is ridiculous to charge elderly and handicapped people extra when there are rooms available,
