Toilet ran long after flushing unless I adjusted it. My room was 80 degrees in February and I had to run the AC to cool it down. Walls are thin and I heard the neighbors much of the time.

I try not to leave bad reviews, but this one I have no choice. There was nothing good about his place. I had to have a hotel room at the last minute due to family emergency. Then when we asked to cancel second night. Owner told us they needed 3 days prior, I explained circumstance and he did not care. I called Orbitz, they called him and he refused to do anything. Orbitz rep disconnected and I called back to get a very nice lady. She called owner back, to see if he would help us. The owner SCREAMED at the 2nd Orbit rep, he was not refunding ANYTHING, only if he rented the room (not very likely). The Orbitz rep felt so bad that she called me back and offer a coupon for a small amount on our next stay at another hotel. She apologized a million times. Used the bathroom in the office and there was nasty brown stuff smeared on the wall by the toilet paper holder and then sink wall was covered in dirt all over the back splash. This was a traumatic experience, since we were already dealing with our unexpected family emergency. The hotel was so bad, we forfeited our 2 night stay to go elsewhere, due to owner and condition of the office. If the office looks like this, I could not image what the inside of the hotel room looks like. He charged us the 2-night stay, which I would not have expected anything less from the owner after watching his behavior. Even if it is the only place available, drive to Hillsdale, Coldwater, or Jackson. HORRIBLE and made my already stressful

bugs everywhere

Staff was completely rude. He sat on the phone and talked to me through his conversation with a friend on the phone. Went to the room and found bugs over the walls all over the bed, flying around in the room, dead bugs on the floor and in the shower. I had reserved a king size bed and received a double. The room temperature was 94 degrees inside. (We only new this from the thermosat in the room) there was a tv that didnt work. And a window air conditioning unit in the wall that also didnt work. (Which was how the bugs were getting in) The room was so small you had to get on the bed to go to the other side of the room. Needless to say we looked see if we could find other hotels in the area and everything was booked so we had to stay. But I will never be back again!

The staff was incredibly rude, the breakfast was scary looking and they don't allow you take it back to your room but they only provide one table for you to eat at, and all the washcloths and towels in my room were full of holes....couldn't even have used them as rags.

This was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Everything in the room (Table and chairs, nightstand, bed and dresser were all jammed into this little room that there wasn't much room to even walk around. The bathroom wasn't much better than an airline bathroom. The shower sprayed a hard mist and got the entire bathroom wet. About the only thing nice in the room was the Directv but it was on a tv that had a horrible picture. Had no control over the heat, it either got to hot and had to turn on the ac then got to cold with the ac on, decided to crack the window for the night and discovered that there was no way to lock the window if closed. The hotel advertised continental breakfast but at 9 am on a Sunday morning there was nothing set out. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
