Beautiful location, nice building design, BUT VERY OLD... Needs some TLC....

Jolly Beach is amazing! Being right on the beach is a plus. This is an older resort and not fancy at all. It was our third time staying there and they have have made huge strides to improving the property.

This property was like a concentration camp . There is no cleanliness . The beach is dirty with seaweed , you can’t even see your feet in the ocean . When it rains , water gets in all the food at the buffet . The staff is very rude and unfriendly and not happy to make drinks or wait on you . Seems like you are a burden being there . When you bring complaints to the managers attention , they say “ oh well there is nothing we can do “ . My fiancé and I were suppose to get married at this resort and because of all of this catastrophe we chose not to get married at this horrible country and wait to book someplace much nicer . There was one employee , that made a difference and her name was HAZLEDEEN ! This resort is very lucky to have such diamond star employee that puts a smile on your face and actually cares about you . The resort and its management team should be greatful to have someone like her ! Also power goes out many times during your stay here . Air conditioners never work in the rooms . Maintenance always has to come and fix them daily . Do NOT book here . Your better off staying home and saving your money . If you book here you will be VERY dissatisfied and disappointed

The resort needs serious updating. Our AC didn't even work. The swim up bar wasn't even staffed or functioning. My friends and I were actively seeking out restaurants outside of the resort for decent food. The resort was a disappointment. The only thing that made this trip worth it was the beach and the quick beach access. Other than that we will not be coming back to Starfish resort.

2* rooms, 3* food, 4* staff, 4* amenities, 4* beach 1 week stay across three rooms The rooms are old and small. The air conditioning barely works in some of the rooms, and sometimes the bathroom doors are missing. There are usually 1-3 mosquitoes in the rooms at any given time since the doors have cracks and are open when being cleaned by the staff. The views from the room are nice, but hardly redeeming for hot evenings filled with mosquitos. The food is just okay, although the occasional Antiguan dish on offer at the buffet is always quite good, the papayas on offer at breakfast are great, and the food at Bocciolo’s is very good. You have some interesting cocktails on offer at the bars. The interesting dishes at Margarita’s and Lydia’s all have supplemental costs (i.e. not part of the all-inclusive). The staff are generally very very friendly! The entertainment staff in particular are funny and lively, plus they organize some fun games and shows. The dining staff is also very friendly and provide great service. There’s the occasional grumpy character (like the water sports rental guys), but otherwise excellent. The beach and the available tours are amazing. Spot-on brilliant.

Pros: BEACH, pool, restaurants on the premises are good & night entertainment. Cons: old rooms, drinks not premium liquor (Martini liquor) , no beach service, the jet-ski beach vendors (don’t stop asking if you want to rent a jet-ski everyday multiple times a day I would recommend this hotel if you don’t care about the room.

Great location. Property is little old but great food and good staff.

This is an older property and the rooms had broken AC, cracks in the walls and ants. So many ants i had to change my room 3 times. The Staffs were excellent, and they are located on a beautiful beach.

We can’t not wait to come back! Staff and resort was a total package!

The resort website say all inclusive and free WiFi but you have to pay for WiFi in the room and pay to use the safe in the room. That negates the claim of free WiFi and all inclusive

The Starfish Jolly Beach is a great resort. The two most significant features are the wonderful white sand beach and the staff. Everyone on the staff from reception, bartenders, and especially the wait staff in the restaurants were courteous, helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to fulfill any requests. The administrator, manager, or officer who selected and trained the staff should be commended.

The one mile beach is outstanding. All the rooms have a balcony with a water view. The staff are very warm and friendly. This was our eighth time to stay here. We were concerned about how we would find Jolly Beach Resort after the new ownership by Starfish and after a hurricane had come nearby. We were pleasantly surprised because everything was better than ever. Several new palapas had been built on the beach, there were several new tables and chairs, and a lot of freshening up around.

Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Faciltlites was old and showing their age.
