The workout room was poor - ventilation and state of the machines. The AC in our room didn’t produce cold air very well. This place was not bad, but not great.
Liked the option of the indoor pool, but it was incredibly crowded with kids and adults - didn't feel it was Covid safe.
Need to update the property. I would stay other places, but there is nothing available.
Alarm clock numbers didn’t work. Time couldn’t be displayed. Pillows on bed were way too small.
Interior is dated and some amenities (e.g., bath towels) need updating. Work out facility is quite small. Staff friendly and location worked well for quick overnight trip.
Beds were old but sheets were clean. Bathroom is clean but very very small. Carpet had a little stain, wallpaper peeling off the wall, and furniture old. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very average at best. A little expensive for what you get.
The only issue was that they ran out of coffee packets in our room. Everything else was fine-would stay there again.
This is an old hotel but there are not a lot of choices in this town. It is probably the best in town. It is close to the university and most business

I came to Whitewater for a short visit to University of Wisconsin - Whitewater campus. I picked the Baymont Inn & Suites because it was close to campus. What a great deal! I was really just looking for a place to crash, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. The hotel really blew me away though! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, and the room was exceptionally clean. I was very impressed. I definitely recommend Baymont Inn & Suites if you are visiting the university, or if need to get downtown.
Although the room was clean and the one staff member I did speak with was very nice and knowledgeable, the room was far too small, the furnishings (lamps, dresser, curtains) were damaged, and the location (next to a Wal-Mart and a gas station in the middle of a residential area with NO attractions or interesting sites nearby) do not justify the cost.
The staff are young and friendly, very welcoming and accommodating. We thought the bed was very comfortable - a nice firm mattress. The room was clean and pleasant. Rooms have a mini-fridge, which we used. Hairdryer, soap and shampoo were provided as amenities.
Staff and the hotel's internet service provider never were able to get outgoing email working on standard Microsoft Outlook. Staff didn't seem to care.
