Good food, Friendly staff and no hassles. I would defiantly come back with my family so that they may experience the comfort and joyful experience. I was really made to feel good and the friendly staff were always close by to assist me in my stay.

I've stayed here more than five times and I always look forward to going to Reef. I have recommended this hotel to so many people in Botswana and they say its the best and I agree with them. We're on earth, nothing and no one is perfect. The Reef staff really do their best to meet our needs. I found out that my booking got cancelled because they couldn't charge my credit card and they helped me book the same room that was cancelled. I was so happy. Thank you Reef staff

It was with a little trepidation that I found out that I had been booked into an inner city hotel - the REEF HOTEL in Jo'burg, because some of the inner cities are scary at the best of times. What a pleasant surprise and great experience to be hosted in the hotel for three days. Once inside, you are greeted by contemporary, gorgeous refurbishment. Tthe reception counter and breakfast area are on the third floor - away from the hum drum of city life. Bedrooms are very cosy, well appointed and exceptionally clean and functional. I must mention the receptionists - a little team of beautifully, attractively turned out young ladies - all sporting welcoming smiles and welcomes. Well done team! The breakfast was delicious - fresh, beautifully displayed, great choice and the young cook preparing eggs on demand coped extremely well - not losing his cool, and remembering all the demands for "sunny side up... easy over... omelets, scrambled, etc... Beds are wonderfully comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Loved the shower design! The only downside was the restaurant on the ground floor. Food is not up to standard, the décor is anything but relaxing, - bright lights and plastic furnishings, and the noise levels resemble a staff canteen. I would love to see an a la carte restaurant for patrons on the third floor breakfast area/bar. If it wasn't for this shortfall, I would have rated this hotel 5/5.

Although the area was not particularly salubrious the hotel itself was excellent value for money with the most helpful, friendly staff I have encountered at a hotel. Breakfast was an added bonus and was excellent. The adjoining restaurant was a great, inexpensive place for dinner. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was very welcome.

God Place to be..... in future, and I can easily recommend to friend and Family, I have noticed that, on a small scale you can hear the sound from some other rooms, that I didn't find it very good. I happened to have lost my Phone charger and battle to get my phone charged, however this is not your responsibility, but on the general regards, I think general charger needs to be available on the rooms for convenience purposes, in times this may affect people in a negative manner, how ever, your place is very good, the service, food etc.

Eveything was gr8, the lifts were a lil bit scary when they stop but we got used to them. My parents were very happy and they said its like a second honeymoon for them. My sisters had a gr8 time at the resturant and enjoyed the food. Will defintely bring my freinds next tjme

While very comfortable, we booked two single beds and received a room with one queen/king bed. This was OK as we are mother and daughter but room was much smaller than imagined. And no fridge. The worst thing was wifi access appeared to be restricted to one device at a time which was most inconvenient for us. Also, while not insecure, wd did feel that this was not a particularly nice neighbourhood.

Everything was perfect a like their hospitality and the staff were friendly and they always smile,it felt like I was at home. The facilities are good and as a sport guy,I was accommodated as they do have the gym room we I used to go in the morning and late at night.

The Reef Hotel is located in the Central Business District and provides a good breakfast selection and helpful friendly staff. The rooms are clean and tidy with all the necessary facilities inside. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights with a 4 day tour to Kruger National Park in between. The Conciege desk organized my four day trips on arrival at the hotel for my days in Johannesburg. The hotel also provided me with a packed breakfast on the day I was being picked up to go to Kruger National Park. It is handy to walk to the Standard Bank, Gandhi Square and the Carlton Centre during the day.

By the time I checked in, Jozi CBD was in the dark(Black out cause of Electricity cables being stolen), Reef Hotel made my stay a little extra special, I did not experience any interruptions while staying there, most hotels that I have been to before has white sheets, Reef Hotel had clean white sheets that smells nice..
