First day of stay - room not made up, I call reception & they have a nerve to ask me if I want the room cleaned? Service, waiting 45 minutes for waiter. Food horrible. No water to bath 24 hours! Rude staff.
Enjoyed my stay especially at the rooms i was booked in. It was so peaceful, the food were mouth watering as always, rooms so clean with fresh linen. The staff was as smiley as always, truly e enjoyed .
The bathroom is a winner, but sad to say the room is dated, the carpets were unclean, the two chairs were very badly stained, and really hope that the rooms are refurbished. The location is ideal if you have business to do in Parktown and does offer secure parking.
The Hotel was good, just a bit disappointed with the layout of the room and type of beds, particularly when in comparison to the OR Premier, Garden Court; and relatively the same pricing. Also slightly felt unsafe with the door lock, which had be changed to new locking device and door not completely finished.
As far as I saw on my visit everything was spot on. The only thing need to be improved is the internet sometimes it doesn't work just goes away without any notice. Other things as I already ticked as correct were fine.
I love staying at the Sunnyside Park, as I can have the luxury and service that one doesn’t get anywhere else anymore. Call me old fashioned, but traveling as a woman alone I like sitting in a dining room for dinner and not a public restaurant.
The hotel service is not good at all and we were not satisfied with the quality of the food , the room are smelly , the cup are not clean . The management need to give more attention on the service quality and the staff seems not happy with the management .
Very nice hotel. I would recommend it to my friends. It 's a National Monument as well which makes it extra special. The hotel management should arrange a 15 - 20 minutes lecture for guests to tell them the history of the place.
The hotel is showing signs of needing attention - maintenance and cleanliness need serious consideration. Furnishings are tired and cleanliness no longer good. The staff were mostly friendly, attentive and prompt
It's been about two years since the last time I spent time at the Sunnyside Park Hotel. Last week I came back stayed there for five days and nights and this is my third visit. Quality of service has not changed much. It still a choice place I would recommend. I especially enjoy some early morning walk outside in their beautiful garden. They also have an outdoor setting where you can sit and dine and even meditate if you want as it is very calm and peaceful especially in the morning. I also realized that the facility has so many conference rooms that can accommodate several seminars happening simultaneously. The conference rooms are well equipped and some snacks and refreshment could be offered during break time. They are excellent at hosting seminars. The staffs are very friendly. I like trying different places but I would surly come back again.
