The phone Dudu not work, we were in a 3rd floor, the air conditioning Did not work, also the had his difficulty flushing. The property around was dirty. But the restaurant menu and staff was great. The only bad thing was the breakfast, all the meat was pork, ham, sausage, etc. etc, and did not have other options like Turku ham or any other thing rather than pork.
overall, I had a great stay and the the staff was warm and welcoming. The only draw back was that there was no wifi in the rooms. The wifi was in the lobby, pool area and dining facility.
It is a place to rest while enjoying the pleasant temperatures. Compared to Santo Domingo, the mountainous Jarabacoa area is always 7 degrees Celsius less in average. The room I've stayed on was cleaned on a daily basis. The staff is friendly, especially one young lady at the lobby counter. The food served at the hotel's restaurant is delicious and abundant. Perhaps one of the few places left in the world where when you order a Piña Colada they begin peeling and cutting a pineapple in front of you! The pool area has one medium pool and two medium jacuzzis for small groups. There are plenty of parking spaces and the area surrounding the hotel is quite safe. The garden is well kept and there's a suspension bridge that connects the hotel to the other bank of the river.

The grounds are spectacular. So amazing and truly relaxing. The staff is sweet and professional. The best. I’m spoiled so I wished for a room with more comfort and perks. It’s a very simple room with a patio, air conditioning and tv. It got cleaned everyday so I had to be content. And I was. Great pool. Try the passion fruit mojito. Good chef. I wish there was more variety on the menu. They are excellent cooks but half of it comes with Mofongo. We went during Thanksgiving. Very quiet. It picked up quite a bit on Saturday. People visit from all over. I can imagine when Jimenoa is in full swing... maybe not so tranquilo.
