Checked in Thursday. Pool was unusable due to chlorine problem. Air conditioner was loud but drowned out noise of radio on in next room. Reported air conditioning problem to front desk in morning. Friday, we returned and found room was not made up. Front desk told us there had been a water main break and there was no water for awhile but they would get to our room. They did not. Ever. Not even an offer of fresh towels. A/C works but fan runs only on high speed. At 1 am when I turned A/C off, radio on in next room. Called desk. They were stumped. Turned A/C back on to overcome radio. 4am radio still on. 7 am it was off! And their door had a "Do not disturb" sign posted. Just shoot me!

We had a great stay at the Best Western. Staff was very nice, rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was perfect!

Nice hotel convenient location we able to walk around town and go to many attractions

The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was a two block walk to the Lucille Ball museums (which was the sole purpose of our trip). We had a minor issue when it came to having our room cleaned the following morning. Our room was overlooked, which could have been a mistake, but when we brought it to the staff's attention, the young man who was at the front desk was a bit condecending and asked if we were aware there were two sides to the door sign, one for do not disturb and the other for please clean. All we wanted were some fresh towels, we didn't even want to bother anyone to come and make our beds, and the attitude was unnecessary. But aside from this incident which left a sour taste behind, everyone else was beyond friendly and the hotel was a great stay. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel room was very overpriced. Good location and within walking distance to restaurants and things to do in the area. Hotel staff not very helpful when asked for restaurant tips for the area. Hotel did not have any maps or information on things to do in Jamestown. The continental breakfast was disappointing and we were forced to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Hotel staff all smoked in a large group in the parking lot right outside of hotel front door, which was very unpleasant.

Really enjoyed a two-night stay in downtown Jamestown at the Best Western. The room was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool welcomed us three times in the three days we were there. Andrea was a cheerful addition to the morning buffet we enjoyed. The maid even jotted us a brief thank you note for the tip we left for her. Parking lot can become crowded and the elevator needed a vacuuming of the rug, but the stay itself was an enjoyable experience. Would return without question!

good location/ very busy? small pool/ no jacuzzi did not spend a lot of time there

Very curious staff. Good breakfast. Nice rooms. Very good location

Great place to stay. You can walk to a lot of activities from here. Very friendly staff!

We arrived at the Best Western in downtown Jamestown shortly after 8:00pm on friday december 27th after a long day of skiing at Holiday Valley, NY. When we first walked into our room there was a very strong smell of lysol or carpet deodorizer. After using the bathroom the toilet paper roll and bracket fell off the wall when used for the first time. My son noticed that the floor of the shower/tub had a crack running down the center of the floor. The crack did not leak onto the bathroom froor but it needed to be repaired. The last item we noticed was the noise heater fan.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Accommodated my late arrival. Quick and easy checkin and checkout the next morning. Room was just right for my needs and bed very comfortable. Availability of continental breakfast made starting the day very easy. Have recommended this hotel to other people.

I was traveling with three kids this trip. It was my first tone staying in a best western. The room was clean, the corridors were kept clean. The pool was great for the Ky's. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast on the morning was what you would expect from a three state hotel, nothing great but definitely acceptable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.... And I'm a picky mom!

I can't really say too much that's BAD about the hotel, but I really can't say anything that's really great. We had a Jacuzzi "suite", but it's not really a suite, just a little larger room. As is far too common, because it's not a suite the bathroom sink is in the same room as the shower and toilet. If you're a couple you know how much time this can add in the morning preparations. The shower was a nice sized walk in (no tub) and had good pressure and temperature, that was the high point of the room. The Jacuzzi was very loud and is also common, filled VERY slowly. The drain also wouldn't pop up to drain the water forcing us to leave it in, not a good thing to do. The breakfast was OK, typical continental fare. The bed was OK, not great, but OK. Plenty of Pillows. Other things that were common at this hotel that I see too often: If you have a Jacuzzi in room, for God's sake put in double the number of towels AT LEAST. Your guests are going to USE the facilities or they wouldn't have paid for them and that should be a no-brainer. The room was not a suite but a standard sized room with a Jacuzzi added. I know this is hard to fix when retrofitting, but come on folks at least try. The aforementioned bathroom sink in the same room as the shower. I can shave and get ready in the time it takes my lady to shower so if I can do that WHILE she's showering and doing her thing there it saves a ton of time in the mornings. Breakfast was mediocre. It's not that hard to make GREAT coffee, people. Use distilled (not tap) water and good coffee beans and people will talk about your coffee all day. If you do less they'll still talk about it but not in the way you want. Quit being so stingy with the towels! A jacuzzi is in there to be USED. Double the towels so your guests can enjoy it without re-using them. This isn't a bad place to stay. While the staff wasn't real friendly they were efficient and businesslike and took care of us, but come on, SMILE. We are your guest as well as your customers. Is a frown the way you greet friends coming to your house to stay? Most of my complaints are quite common at too many hotels and it seems to be an industry wide lack of attention to detail most of the time. The rooms were clean, well made up, and did the job, but just enough to be OK. Is that really how you want to be remembered, that you were just OK? I don't.

Stayed at this hotel as a central location to ski from. Were gone all day and just needed a nice place to sleep at. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Check in and out fast and painless. Breakfast servicable but not exceptional. We would stay again.

For what I paid, I was surprised at the size and quality of the room. This is not the Ritz, but it is clean and neat with a friendly and helpful staff. The Continental breakfast was nice and plentiful.

stayed at hotel while in process of moving. location good. across street from Jamestown Ice Arena. rooms were nice but had problem with mildew near air conditioner in one room. and on shower curtain in another room. was told the hotel was in process of correcting problems in all rooms. staff was very helpful, nice breakfast room, nice pool but water was cold. good value for the money.

This hotel was run somewhat too informally for my tastes and was relatively worn out and dirty for only being four years old. However, there wasn't much availability anywhere the weekend I was in Jamestown because of a Lucille Ball festival, a balloon festival, and events at nearby Chautauqua Instutite. The Best Western was acceptable but just barely.
