One week there. Room: small but clean and well equiped. Main problem: no outside window (all rooms on a corridor, only one window which, with curtains open, leaves no privacy). Staff: friendly. Location: OK but not amazing. Quite central but not so many real options for shopping/dining (only street food). 5 min walk to small local mall (Sarinah) and 15 min to much bigger/modern malls, but through very unpleasant road. Not a bad option, but you can find a bit better for similar price.
Decent hotel for the price. Stayed there for five days. Toothbrush were not given daily, only the first and fourth day, though as a whole only two were given. Airconditioner leaked water but not a huge deal breaker. The soap pump in the toilet near the shower did not work. All of this is fine, but there were two things that annoyed me, there was a condom packaging under the bed and a used cotton ear bud that shows signs of use on the floor indicating that the room was not properly cleaned. On a budget it is an ok hotel as there is a shop next to the hotel and blue bird taxis are parked next to the hotel.
Frankly speaking, at first, I didn't expect much from Fave Hotel Wahid Hasyim, as I stayed in other Fave Hotels before. I just thought about the very strategic location, especially as I had a very early meeting in the next day. The lobby is very simple, check in process took some times but it still in my tolerable time. Arriving in the room, I'm quite surprised as it is not as small as I thought and they have decent working table. Although not spacious, the bathroom is still okay. However, it is really a pity that they don't take care of the shower as it is broken and when being on, the water spills everywhere. In the future, I still consider staying in this hotel mainly due to the location
Stayed at the hotel for the second time. The last was in November. I am not in awe of the service this time around. As I came earlier, I had to leave my bag at the counter and come back at 2pm for the check in. I understand the policy well but the staffs are lil bias when they tried to provide a room earlier to three Indonesian girls who walked in for a room ; without even checking with the housekeeping on avail rooms. Wonder why? Food is not varied. Almost every day the same old routine of steamed rice, fried rice and noodle. My biggest concern would be sleeping in a hot room. The air conditioner was at faulty; and I complained to the receptionist in regards of the matter but the matter was not resolved on that day. I had to complain again on the next day. As I came earlier from my outing in jkt, the maintenance guy was working on the air conditioner. As I asked why it was not fixed, he said he didn't know there were problems. He only received complaint on the particular day. Thus, I ended sleeping in a extreme hot room for 3 days and it was fixed on the last day before i checked out. So, am I happy? Nope!
Charming and pleasant boutique hotel in Central Jakarta. Walking distance to Tanah Abang, Grand Indonesia, Sarinah & MONAS. We've got upgraded without any additional charges. Nice room for short stay. The breakfast is not too bad either. Overall, satisfied!
Book deluxe with queen bed but what i received is twin bed. This is not satisfied me. The room is so small and for the service is just quite decent. The only good for this hotel is the location strategic enough in center of Jakarta city
I am a business traveller. After my meetings in Jakarta, i went to Favehotel to check-in. It was 6.30pm. And i was told that my hotel booking was released and there are no rooms for me. The reason they gave was that their system will automatically release all bookings at 6pm. They claimed they have tried call me but i did not receive any calls. If i missed any calls, i would receive an sms from my telco informing me of any missed calls. The next morning, i was informed by the booking agent that i did not show up, claiming it was a No-Show. I booked at Booking.com. And the booking reference number was 1980537813. Regards Michael
Book deluxe for 1 night during business trip. The room was small and dirty. Matress well-padded but the duvet is need to be replaced. They just provide amenities only for 1 person, if you want more you can buy it and collect at front-desk. Services were even worse. I need 15 minutes to check-in. I asked wake up call on 3 AM but they were never called. Horrible.
I'm a satisfied customer.Clean and comfortable room.Strategic location.Easy acces from main road.Close to shopping center Sarinah Mall,Tanah Abang. Nearby Monumen Nasional. Just need to improve the internet speed.
Clean and comfy room. Thank you to the housekeeping team. Good Security with access card for elevator. Location in city center. Cab just outside the hotel. Friendly and welcoming front office. Convenient store, ATM and Cafe on site. To improve; - Taste and variety of the food and beverages (closed by midnight) - Would be good if they can provide 2 access card per room - WiFi access can be improved
- Close to National Monument
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Free parking
- Onsite dining
