The property isnt your typicak hotel. Its more on the condo lifestyle (at least the penthouse is). We had no issues with checking in or during our stay. I will note that even though it seems new and clean there is definite noticable wear and tear.
I'm currently still at the property and spent a week at Jaco at 2 different unit. Penthouse #41 and #46 because its listed for sale and I was considering buying it. I'm glad I stayed because I wouldn't invest any money here after. This really wasnt the experience I wanted. The staff lacks common sense and everyone is so afraid of making any intelligent decisions that it makes me wonder whoever owns this place wants it run like a prison. If I leave my keys upstairs someone needs to walk me upstairs. A $50 a night Howard Johnson will just give me another key. I had to call facilities on each unit because the water wasn't working and it took hours for them to come up, and I'm STILL waiting for an iron and an ironing board that you would think a "penthouse" would have but lacks, it's been 3 dsys so far. And the cleaning crew would only clean half of the condo. Also I am not allowed to bring guest over. You know how embarrassing it is that my buddies that were staying at Crocs can't come past 8pm because the aren't registered? But I can go in and out of there little double size room? What a terrible experience that is and mind me I'm in the best of the best at this facility not a cheap room. This is a good place for just families that want to come to just sleep but for what I paid for this place I would expect more and they failed to deliver.
Ambience was wonderful, receptionist was excellent. The two things I did not like 1) cleaning staff was not doing their job properly. They were not cleaning the room like fixing the beds or throwing out garbage. The pool also was could of been cleaned more often.
