I resorted to this place because my first choice didn't work out and I was in a hurry. Overall, it was a disappointment. The breezeways and stairs smelled like urine and the clientele looked sketchy. The room itself was not bad but I did see roaches. There is a girl named Moe in the front office who was very nice and helpful but another named Sevilla who just couldn't be bothered. I would only stay at this place again if I absolutely had to.
We needed a place to rest our heads. My mother is fighting cancer and the only person that could help us with this leg of her journey was 3 1/2 hours away in Jacksonville. The property was so clean and quiet. Very ideal place to call our home away from home as she receives treatment. Our journeys to Jacksonville are not over, but at least we have a resting place that is good for us.
All rhe floora on the place were filthy!. From the halways to the stairs. And when we got to our room, nicely designwd and decirated, the floors were so durty you can actualy see the dirt. I rode my fingers on the floor and they were so filthy that we didn't want our dogs to walk on them. People may say is an exaggeration... NO!! We areived after midnight so we have to sleep there nonetheless! On the morning we fot our things and left the hotel. We were sooo grossed that none of us wanted ro shower there. The price and the location was excelent and it has 3.5 stars! We took the risk... never again!! We hope the management read this and take action!
Apparently had a rogue housecleaner not doing her job which inconvenienced us. The front desk staff dealt with it as quickly as she could - changing us out of the Disgusting first toom into a 2nd which was much better, but still not as clean as it should be and I seriously doubt 'covid sanitized' as the floor was dirty and surfaces had sticky spots. Probably will not try a Studio 6 property again. Red Roof was same or better price range, but a world of difference in upkeep.
