Arriving Saturday around dinner time, we checked in about an hour after making our reservation by phone from the road. We were greeted with warm cookies as promised in our phone call. Our room was clean, fresh and comfortable. After a terribly disappointing dinner down the street at Ruby Tuesday’s, we returned to watch some tv and then turn in for the night. In the morning, some family that had driven through the night met us for breakfast and the driver actually was able to nap briefly in our room while I took the children out to a local park. The wonderfully helpful lady at the front desk allowed us to extend our stay until noon. This is our second stay with this particular Comfort Suites and we will not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.
We stayed at this hotel while traveling through Florida for a wedding. It was very clean, inviting for the kids and they had great food as well! We would highly recommend anybody traveling to the area to stay at this hotel! We love when we find friendly hotel staff as well.
I will try the new Holiday Inn across street next time. We were scare with the kind of residents here plus this place is far from be clean outside and inside. The hallways are nasty and the rooms are worst but I think was easy to suppose because started on the lobby
Never coming back again very dirty room and have a smell like urine. Asked the housekeeper to vacuum the carpet again and she said "her vacuum doesn't work sorry". Don't know how this place get good reviews they have to be fake
Our family of five recently stayed here while traveling to Orlando. While this hotel wasn't bad by any means, I would say it is only average for a Comfort Suites. In the fitness room, the treadmill wasn't working properly. I didn't really like having to walk outside and use a key to get into the stairs. The breakfast was good, just not great. The staff were very nice. Overall the hotel was pretty clean and worked fine for an overnight stay while traveling.
The General Manager Roxie Sorrels was the nicest hotel manager I've ever met. She greeted us with a great big smile and an awesome Southern Hospitality personality. Highly recommend a stay. The room were clean and tidy. And the staff were courteous.
This hotel is very nice and really clean the staff is very nice and attentive this hotel has the best breakfast there are alot of shopping around and great restaurants crosscreek was my favorite thanks to the front desk for recommending this and thanks to all the staff you all are the best.
I found out that my reservation had been cancelled at 7pm on May 16th. Roxie sorrells then preceded to make a room available with an in room hot tub. I found Roxie and her staff friendly and helpful. This is above and beyond excellent customer service. I travel for business in this area often and will always stay here from now on.
Good hotel. friendly staff. Conveniently located. Only problem is it must be near a train crossing and could hear train whistle in middle of night. Solution might be to ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the train tracks.
My colleagues and I stayed at this hotel while on business. From the moment we walked into the door to the time we left, every member of staff welcomed us and recognized us throughout our stay. The rooms are large, air-conditioning is fantastic and the whole property is kept very clean. Roxie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our flights ended up getting delayed and cancelled - meaning we had to wait in the lobby for hours. Thankfully, they have a wonderful breakfast area and comfy leather couches!! The whole time we were dealing with the airlines, Roxie kept coming by to check in on us to make sure everything was okay - even though we were guests who have already checked out, we were still a guest in her eyes. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Jacksonville and will be my choice of accommodations when I return to the area next.
