We have stayed in this Hotel four years in a row for skiing. They offer a private bus up to the ski areas and that is a great feature. The location, being downtown, is ideal for exploring shopping and different dining options. The stay includes breakfast and they keep everything extremely clean. The only negative we all (group of 7 in 4 rooms) agree on, is that the dressers are very small, only 3 small drawers and especially in the winter we have a lot of layers & clothes. But that won't stop us from future returns. Price/Value is very good.
Check in was ok. Room was clean. Bad - parking is poor, I had to park 2 blocks away and tote luggage to room. Noisy - you can hear neighbors walking or talking. This is an older hotel, showing its age. Way too expensive for what you get.

Older hotel, great location near the center of Jackson. Our room was dark and musty. It was missing a ceiling light in the bathroom and a burned out light over the sink. The bathroom fan made noise but didn't work. The room seemed like it was quickly cleaned and they had missed some spots. Breakfast had a good variety but the taste was quite bad. As my brother said, "I've had reconstituted eggs better than these". The pool was small but nice. Overall a mediocre experience at best for a very high price.
Don’t expect a 3:00 check in even as listed. Short staffed apparently and lots of excuses and confusion upon check in. On a tight schedule so didn’t appreciate that for the cost. Since booked thru 3rd party, they could do nothing about any discounts. Although room size suite was good there are lots of other little places around - skip and book elsewhere.

This was our groups (8 people) 4th stay in this Hotel and we really enjoy the location in walking distance to downtown. An important feature is the bus transfer to the ski village daily plus having breakfast included. During our stay in Jan 2023 a huge group of skiers of 148 people from the SE USA (ski counsil) were present. Unfortunately this created more issues regarding bus shuttle to the mountain and it seemed the kitchen was overwhelmed with too many people attending the breakfast buffet in the morning. We would go back again, but probably avoid booking during the time another huge ski group is present.
My room didn’t have hot water enough to take a shower. I couldn’t take a shower before going to new year party which was very disappointed. Hotel gave us another room to take a shower which was nice.
For the price in Downtown Jackson this place can not be beat. They have a great pool, multiple hot tubs and the free breakfast is surprisingly extensive. The 49'er is blocks from town square and right next to the bus line to Jackson Hole. The rooms are very basic and not much to them but you aren't in Jackson to stay in your hotel room. I continually go back to this place for all that it offers.
Great place
Quiet, clean and easy to walk to restaurants. But beds are not comfortable and all pillows are too high. They have nice gym and complimentary breakfast (limited choice though).
The door the building was broken and stayed open all the time. The vending machines didnt work.
