Super 8 Jackson/North

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Sign at the entrance said all reservations would be cancelled after 8p. Room floors were dirty. Breakfast options were only Frosted Flakes or hot waffles.

I liked the convience of the motel. It was close to where we wanted to go, but not in downtown. The planes flying and landing was noisy.

There was a small tear in the ceiling fabric. The refrigerator made a loud humming noise during cooling cycles. I reported the problems but nothing was done. The billing for my stay was a problem. I was billed by Orbitz and the Super 8 in North Jackson for my 3 day stay. I was billed twice. I'm working with Sears Master Card to correct the problem. The initial payment was paid to Orbitz via my Sears Master Card. I'm withholding the 2nd request for payment from Super 8 via my credit card.

I have seen bigger bathrooms in a camper. Lots of dust on lamps. Strange musky smell.

everything was great room was large and the bed were comfortable

Hotel definitely needs some work. Just about everything is old and worn but if your looking for a cheap hotel with decent rooms. It's ok.

This hotel was bad choice after seeing that the elevator, then the room's carpet was filthy. The sheets and pillow cases wreaked of fresh smoke. It appears that displaced families are housed here, very transient looking guests. Will NEVER stay here again.

This hotel was bad. The floor had a holea in it the room was outdated. Smoke detector was not connected. Bad patch work on drywall and an iron burn on the rug. I would not go there or recommend this hotel.

the A/C would not cool the room and the floor through out the building were just filthy, the side doors would not work and I noticed people blocking them open but when I returned in the night while it was raining the door would not open so I had to walk around and enter through the main lobby. The elevator had cigarettes and trash on the floor that remained in it from the time I checked in until I left. The breakfast consisted of an assortment of 2 cereals and a waffle iron, the milk was empty and unfilled no other beverages were offered but coffee. I guess I got what I paid for but have to wonder if the hotel across I-55 with the lower rates and a pool would have been a better stay.

It was a three minute drive away from the conference at the Hilton. Wife had trouble logining into the free Wifi at night, but the day clerk set her right. Day clerk was most friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pleasant stay except for a customer whose car was broken into. Probably his fault for leaving things inside of it. Clientele was pleasant, it was quiet and suitable for our low budget.

This hotel smelled and was dirty. There was a hole in the middle of the floor. Do not recommend.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was a nice size. However, areas needed deep cleaning; stairwells were dirty; areas of mold on walls in bathroom around tub/shower; ice machine on first floor was broken (and none on 2nd floor where we were), so had to use the one on 3rd floor.

Hotel was OK condition for the price. But the last day of my stay, the owners/staff starting cooking something that put out an awful smell throughout the building. All day at work, I could keep smelling it in my clean clothes that had been hung in the closet.

We have stayed at this hotel previously and was extremely pleased at that time. This visit was not good at all. The hotel was dirty. The sink would not drain. The air conditioner knobs were broken. The continental breakfast was poor. We will not be returning.

Room was ok but upstairs was noisy very busy place

Needed a good place to stay for one night. Overall good experience.

I don't think they had performed any maintenance on the facility in years.

Right off of 55, convenient to Jackson. I found the room to be pleasant, which included a love seat and coffee table. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. My room was at the end near the back door and staff keeps that door open during the night, so unloading and loading my car was easy, as it was parked near that door. I would recommend this hotel to another and I would stay there again. Good value.

our key was disconnected twice, the hotel employees tried to get into our room without knocking, they walked around knocking on the door to see when we were checking out even though the room was paid for, the breakful sucked, the waffle mix taste like it had poison in it, the room was filty. the bath tub was dirty, the floor was dirty, and they have a watch maid watching you, you can't even eat breakfast without her standing over you to watch you eat, and when we left the room and returned, the window curtains were open, with our belonging being exposed to the public. the night clerk even was sleeping on the sofa and was not behind the desk.

I will return again the service was prompt. I enjoyed my stay.
