I was traveling back home to IL from Mississippi for work, with a stay here in Jackson Tennessee. My rate was very reasonable $89 plus tax The front desk person was super friendly eager to help and suggested local restaurants. I stayed in a lot of hotels throughout the country, This hotel was nice and comfortable for the price. The hotel is slightly dated but it looks like they have been doing some improvements over the years. My room was clean and smelled fresh the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I judge hotels on how clean the bathroom is. I enjoyed my stay, I have no complaints I will stay here again if ever in the area again.
This is a sort of strange hotel. First of all the man at the desk was a great guy seemed to want to do anything to make it a great one night stay. But the hotel is very worn and you dont have to look far to see it. Just worn out everywhere and pretty depressing. But still strange because the room wasnt actually bad. The bed was very comfy, the linens nice! The TV picture was atrocious and their was nowhere to sit my carry on bag. The worst thing the whole night was the constant sound of room doors crashing shut all up and down the hallway. So I will close with saying, this place isnt awful. But I wouldnt call it nice either. Good luck
This Inn is small, perhaps a "Comfort Lite," but nice none the less. It's an older property, and showing its age a little, but clean, with a very friendly front desk staff. I was sick and needed a room with two beds so I could allow my wife to sleep while I coughed and wheezed all night. Both beds were very comfortable, clean linens, as was the bathroom. We didn't stay for breakfast but it looked good.
I am in a hotel three or four nights a week for the last 15 years and I have seen it all. This place is very very nice and the people are super friendly. Jason on the evening shift went above and beyond accommodating me as I called twice before I arrived at the property inquiring about nearby restaurants and such. He even double-checked with me when I arrived to see if I had found something to eat because it was a late check-in. The 24hr Denny's right by the hotel was perfect. The hotel is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Kudos for going above the call in keeping the hotel smelling fresh. Immediately after submitting this review I will be saving the hotel information in my phone! See you guys again soon
An older property, but well maintained, very clean, and an extremely helpful staff. Right off the Interstate, plenty of restaurant options within a mile, very good Internet service, and an above average breakfast. I will gladly stay here again next time I am in Jackson.
After traveling through Jackson twice now, this may be the only decent place in the city? But I will critique the others separately. It is conveniently located far enough from the highway, that you don't hear the typical obnoxious road noises. And there are several restaurants close by. The hotel is nicely done and clean, and the staff is friendly. There is someone in housekeeping though who is a total maniac with air freshener?! My room was almost unbearable the fragrance was so strong?! But, by the time I got back from dinner it had subsided. This is a good, reasonably priced, friendly bet out on the road, just tell them not to use the air freshener, when you make your reservations and you will be fine!
We were travelling to Texas from Ontario Canada and decided to stop at this hotel after a long day of driving. It was in a good location right off the Interstate and easy to get to. Guy at the front desk was very accommodating. It was about midnight when we checked in and he gave us a bit of a discount. The room was cozy and quiet and served it's purpose. They do have a complimentary breakfast but we were up early in the morning and on our way again before it was open. If you need a place to crash for the night the Comfort Inn will do the job. For our short stay there, I really can't say a bad thing about it.
Great staff waiting and willing to help you, Very friendly, clean, breakfast was good. I don't think I've slept on a more comfortable bed at any hotels I've been to. Easy access to the property. I would recommend this hotel to anybody in the area!
My family and I were in Jackson for a baseball tournament, so a good night sleep was paramount. Unfortunately, this is not the place to do that. Our first night is when we realized that, at 8pm, the air conditioning didn't work in our room. We went to the night manager, and he came into our room and confirmed that it wasn't working, then told us that they were completely booked and didn't have anywhere else to put us. Finally, at midnight, my husband went to the front desk to see if they had a box fan so we could get some sleep. The next morning I went back to the front desk and talked to the general manager, only to find out that the night manager could've moved us. The general asked if he moved us if we would stay. I told him that we would. He told us that he would call us when he made the changes. As we were getting ready to walk out the door at 10 am, to our first game, we got the call. We explained that we were leaving and that we would not be back until later that afternoon. That's when he told us that he needed the room back by 11am so he could get the room ready to use. So, inconveniencing us again, I stayed behind to pack our things back up, and my husband took my son to the field 20 minutes away, only to come back for me. Thinking that all would be well from then on, it just compounded. The walls and doors weren't insulated so everytime someone would go into the hall, you could hear them. So, by the time the weekend was over I was exhausted. When I went to check out, the manager got ready to run my receipt, when I made the comment that he didn't charge us full price for the first night. He said he did, then I asked what he charged us for the second night and he told me it was more than the original room. When I balked, the general manager was more than accommodating in adjusting our bill. This hotel is needing a much needed update, not to mention a good cleaning. The breakfast isn't anything to rave about, and if you don't get something before they run out on the buffet, too bad they don't have anything in the back to restock.
I spent the night here three years ago. This time the newness has rubbed off and I find no reason to return. I will pay a little bit more to get a little bit more. Staff was good, management/owners should provide more personnel.
