Typical comfort inn. Stopped in on work. Seemed to be the nicest place that takes CLC. CHECK IN was ok. Room was ok. The toilet seat was broken. Cracked. You ever sat on a cracked toilet seat? There is no reason that toilet seat is still there other than laziness. The wallpaper in the bathroom also makes the wall look cheap. Like it's scratched all over. Otherwise everything was ok.
We had the most pleasant check-in experience I think I've ever had in any hotel. We checked in later at night, and the night manager/desk clerk (Jason or Joshua or Justin, or another two-syllable J name) was so friendly and helpful without being smarmy. Same experience early in the morning (before 7:30 or 8:00 a.m.) with a completely different person. I didn't get a name, but the man stationed at the desk was also monitoring the breakfast area. He, too, was friendly, helpful and conversational without being overbearing. This hotel is average in a good way: clean and adequate at a reasonable price, but the customer service attitude is outstanding! The entrance is tucked away in a place that makes the area look questionable, but that was not a big deal at all.
We stayed here for baseball tournament and the beds were fine and I slept good after a day with 3 games. The breakfast (I'm a huge breakfast fan) was below average for Comfort Inn because the eggs were WET and sitting in water. The biscuits appeared to be old and reheated multiple times. They were replacing the carpet on the first floor while I was there so there is an effort to update the hotel.
We were not impressed. The bathroom had not been cleaned very well as there was a dirty towel on the floor and the faucet was dirty. The fridge did not work and we found a mouse in our room in the morning. The hotel staff showed little concern for the state of our room when we informed them of the issues. We did not stay for breakfast but looking into the area it seemed to be a standard breakfast for this chain.
My wife and I were traveling from Oklahoma to Tennessee. We needed a place to stay overnight. We stopped in Jackson, Tennessee. I searched my smartphone and Comfort Inn appeared to be the best nearby value. We took our chance. Jason, the hotel representative was very friendly and helpful. Check-in went smoothly. The hotel is in an excellent location for travelers traveling near Nashville. It is easy to reach! We stayed in Room 210, which was a standard studio with two double queen-sized beds and one bathroom. The room was very quiet. The hotel amenities included complimentary Wi-Fi access. There’s a complimentary breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this location due to its excellent location, price, and cleanliness.
First of all, the room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was fine - average for Choice hotels. If you are staying here with kids, please know that Choice's policy regarding children is "Children 18 and younger stay free when they share the same room as their parents or grandparents" (unless otherwise noted and this hotel has no caveats). I booked online for 1 adult and 3 kids - my children are all teens who are tall but they do meet the child age policy. When I checked in, instead of asking me their ages, the desk clerk told me he'd have to charge me more bc my kids looked older than 12 or 13. I told him Choice's age policy was 18 and under and I had to look it up on the website and show him in order to verify that. He then told me my kids look older than 18. I assured him they were not - that we were in town to visit a local college for preview day. He then apologized and was friendly and helpful. The next morning when I checked out, I suggested to the new desk clerk that the hotel might want to make sure that their desk clerks know the child policy is 18 and under and not 12 or 13. Her reply shocked me - she asserted over and over again that the policy was controversial and the age limit is (or used to be) 10. She told me something along the lines that they usually charge extra for children but they didn't bc I booked online. We've stayed almost exclusively at Choice hotels for 15 years and the policy has always been 18 and under or under 18. The only reason I'm sharing this is so others don't get charged extra for having their older children/ teens stay in the room with them.
Just off the freeway. Staff very nice. The room was clean. The hotel is showing a bit of wear but clean. Outside pool. Little things need improvement. A light switch was missing a screw, the sink stopper didn't work and the sink drained very slowly. The shower faucet was quite different. The breakfast area was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. This was a typical hotel breakfast light. Most breakfasts have yogurt and bagels for example, this one didn't. The hot food I had for breakfast was Luke warm at best. Small problems, with a clean room.
Just one night here but very happy with our stay . Fast check in & personable staff . Clean room and very comfortable bed . Don't know about breakfast. We love Denny's and will be eating there . Location was great for what we needed.
I love Comfort Inn Hotel, the ones I come to this year (3) All been very nice. Customer SERVICE they have a welcoming feel of " Great to see you "! The rooms beds a comfortable, they have a refrigerator and Microwave along with a continental breakfast .This is why We come back several times a year. I know where we need to go in each State we visit , and get the value for our money.
We normally use the Comfort Suites in this city of the same hotel chain, but we wanted to try this one. Maybe not as nice as the other one, but the hotel was good for our purpose. Breakfast not as good as in the Comfort Suites but enough for starting meal before our last 8 hours travel leg to Dallas, TX. We will use it again.
