We spent 2 weeks at Hotel Materada. The hotel is nice and appropriately rated at three star. The facilities are adequate... without being exceptional. We had a sea view which was lovely. The food was good.. nice variety ..well prepared ..if occasionally not as hot as we would have liked. Breakfast was an adventure with gulls often swooping on to tables and taking left overs.. The Hotel has a fantastic location .. near to beach.. bike hire.. nice restuarants (check out Spadici and Val)..and a lovely 30 mins stroll into Porec. Staff were professional and helpful..we had reason to seek assistance in our room(×2) and staff were present within in minutes and issues sorted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not rule out a return visit

I've stayed there for a night during RiseUp festival in Poreč and have only positive words. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable so everything was good for me, no complaints

Just spent a lovely week at the Materada. The hotel is very modern in style and very clean. The bedrooms have air con and free WiFi. The food at breakfast and in the evening was plentiful and tasty. My only gripe was there was no English breakfast tea and no cold milk next to the drinks. In terms of entertainment my son of 8 enjoyed the kids club which was run by 3 very friendly enthusiastic members of staff. The evening entertainment was a bit repetitive always consisting of a singing duo so Id recommend something for families such as a magician or dancers. Overall I'd recommend a stay here.

Lovely hotel in a good location, the town of Porec was about 30 mins walk but good bus service, bars and shops within minutes. The hotel was very clean, pool and public areas well serviced with nice staff. Only things I would say that stopped me rating a five, the rooms were a little small though very comfortable, I would have liked a kettle in the room, and the restaurant closed at 9 which was a little early to accommodate a lot of the trips. Food was very good with lots of choice.

Nice place, according to my experience should be rather 4 stars rated. Nice lobby, eating area with a terrace and super swimming pools. Rooms are renovated as well, but average equipment - but you do not come there for the rooms :) Stunning view at Adria and beautiful garden. Special thanks from Poland goes to the kids entertainment team, doing really great job down there!

Stayed for a week at the end of May to beginning of June. We got a late deal and it's the first time we have stayed in a 3* abroad as you can sometimes get less than expected but this is not the case for here. It's great! Facilities are more of a four star, rooms cleaned daily and the hotel is spotless. I would have given it 5 but the rooms are very small. We only had a double room which did have a balcony but the actual room was small. It was acceptable but it is the only downside to the hotel. Our room consisted of 2 single beds put together and a built in wardrobe, tv on the wall and two very small bedside tables. There was a chair but it got in the way as couldn't move around it. Bathrooms were modern and very clean but again very small. Not sure what you would do if larger than average in size as think you would struggle. Would recommend the hotel though and would definitely stay again. Wide range of food at meal times and all freshly cooked. A bargain of a hotel and can't believe we got it for the price we paid.

A very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings.Room good. Staff good. Food average, but plenty of choice. Free drinks with dinner. About 1 mile from Porec. Limited courtesy bus. Holiday included coach trips to lots of interesting places.Lifts a bit slow.Ltd English news papers

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel would definately reccomend hotel is beautiful scenic lawns like green velvet landscaped trees of all types , had a seaview room it was spectacular we could see all the grounds plus seaview could see all the way accross to Porec town the walk to porec town takes 40 minutes and the walk is so pleasant it is a joy to walk it. Food is very good plenty of choice salad bar hot food always fish meats chicken plus specials good choice of desserts ice cream and lots of fresh fruits free drinks with meal huge dining room well spaced out with privacy screens dotted around outside large patio with laid out tables go early to get a table out door . large outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool for children sunbeds all around the pool also decking on lower level There is a child club where parents can stay with them or leave them morning afternoon and early evening disco also a club for teens offering entertainment dancing and outings Entertainment in main lounge class acts middle of the road stuff Must say rooms are small so bear this in mind when packing luggage bed linen changed every few days good english language spoken at reception would stay at this hotel again

Just finshed a weeks hols here...the hotel is magnificent and in a great location. it isnt in porec but just outside in an area called spadici...however this isnt a problem...we have had great weather apart from our last day raining all day...the down side is that the rooms are ridiculously small even for a couple in fact the smallest i have ever seen. the entertainment wasnt good either.. just playing some chart music in the lounge would have kept me happy....but unfortunately the music was set up for older people to do formal dancing...this time of the year there is absolutely nothing to do on a night around the hotel...the public areas in the hotel are superb and we loved it here. but would not come back as the rooms were uncomfortable small...oh and whoever said croatia was cheap needs there head looking at... its expensive dont kid yourself.😂,...

It was a nice , comfortable hotel with big and clean rooms , nice staff , very tasty food . The surrounding area was nice . I think that is possible to play tennis on hotels tennis courts . I can recommend this hotel .
