Booked suites with sea view and was well worth it. Rooms were great, only small, but the suites had 2 rooms, one with 2 single beds, wardrobe and a bathroom, the other with a sofa, chair, another bathroom and wardrobe. 3 of us were in the suite so just big enough for us and the luggage, great views overlooking the sea too. Large hotel, very pleasant and modern. Large dinning room with a good choice of food. Quite a walk to the centre, but you can catch the mini train about 10/15 mins walk away. Lovely grounds and very clean. Would definitely recommend
Lovely immaculate hotel. Small rooms but didn't matter. Lovely bathrooms. We were half board and food was good for both. Although not much choice for fresh fruit at breakfast. Lovely resort and we both loved the hotel and Croatia, and will return.
It's a great hotel. Rooms are modern, cosy and the better and more expensive ones come with fantastic sea, pool and Porec view. That's why we come here for. Also the surroundings are always spotless, gardens are well kept, children playgrounds are also there to keep your young ones happy as well. Beach is also probably one of the best ones in northern Porec as there are not so many rocks. Staff is very polite and helpful. But... the food is really not good. Every single dish at dinner was too salty, fish was undercooked, vegetables were defrosted from the supermarket, the drinks were all mixed with water... pretty much tasteless. However the lights at the restaurant were changing colours all the time during the dinner and the view over the park and sea at breakfast is magnificent so the atmosphere is not bad at all. Breakfast was a bit better but choice was quite poor. To sum up I would gladly return if the food was better. Laguna Park and Molindrio serve much better food there's no reason not to do it here as well. Such a shame, otherwise it would be perfect.
The good points- very nicely situated. very comfortable lounges and pool area. Food very reasonable with plenty of choice. Bedroom small but adequate and maids were excellent it was no trouble to get extra pillows etc. There are buses in to Porec twice a day and for older people a relaxed 45 minute walk. The sea wAs warmer than the pool! The reception staff were particularly helpful as were the restaurant staff. Bad points - Bar service appalling with severAl bar staff but only one allowed to take money so the others stood around. No cushions on pool chairs. Whilst appreciating that it was the end of the season there were no animation staff and evening entertainment quite poor. We would have thought long term clients would get the front rooms as against the many only there for two/three days. Seemed to cater mostly for Germans with little attention to Brits. We were on a Bridge holiday so didn’t need much looking after but beware of out of season. Would we go again Yes but with reservations.
The hotel is roughly 20 to 30 min walk into Porec and as had refurbishment and up graded in 2014 and was kept clean and tidy through out our stay both breakfast and evening meals were top notch apart from chortizo sausage which skins were left on, the evening meals you could have free wine, beer or soft drinks up to nine o clock if you did not take them out of the dinning room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There are plenty of bars down on the sea front which are very reasonable to have a drink on a night as the bus service is not very good. But all in all we had a good stay.
We decided on Northern Croatia as we have been to the South Dubrovinec .But not so good the hotel is very remote not many bars or shops around within walking distance only along the sea front Ok in the day time ! Caters mainly for coach parties of German origin.
A good hotel in a fabulous spot our balcony looked over the sea and the view was amazing. Only downside was if you don't like a long walk it is a good bit from town centre but good restaurants nearby.
As most people are saying about this hotel the rooms are small but they are clean and manageable, and ask yourself are you in the room all day if yes don't go to this hotel although don't think I would have liked to stay longer than a week. If you need any extra hangers just ask reception and they will get you some they are very helpful. Shower is a walk in and very good. If you like drinking tea may be a good idea to take a travel kettle and your own tea bags milk and cups (although you should be able to take two from breakfast). Think it would be a good idea for the hotel to start serving baked beans at breakfast as after all it is a staple food and is cheep for you to buy. Love the fact that you could get free wine and beer at dinner time nice touch and much appreciated. Hotel grounds are very nice and well kept didn't use pool as it was late September but more braver souls than me were using it. Nice big hotel if you did not want to see entertainment there are plenty of seats in reception area to sit and have a chat, the entertainment seemed ok saw people dancing and having a good time middle of the road music. Nice walk into Porec along the shore few bars selling food along the way and if you don't fancy the walk you can get on the train about 10 min walk from hotel outside Johnny's bar which is also a nice place for a drink or snack. Pool towels available from reception again they are very helpful. Food at dinner is fine you will not go hungry would be nice if it was not fried potatoes every night then again they did have mash on some nights. Think they should not have this reserving of tables for groups as it was difficult to find a table some nights as they seem to hog the tables drinking their free drinks from 7- 9 that said we did find a table eventually. So to sum up all in all a very good 3 star hotel better than some 4 and 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Yes we would go again but I will get a travel kettle and hope that they have started to have beans for breakfast.
I got a good deal and reception was professional and the hotel came across clean and organised. A little hard to find and my cars Sat Nav didn’t help. Half Board was ok – nothing startling but if you considered as an extra at the price (and not a lot of places locally) then fine. Breakfast was plentiful but un inspirational – I had 3 bread rolls , jam and coffee. Nothing wrong with that but gives an indication that there was nothing else (though there was a lot of food) to entice.
For a 3* hotel and for Croatian standards this is a very nice hotel. The rooms are indead small, but thay have a balcony with a great see and city of Porec view. We were there several times. The food is very good and there are complementary drinks at dinner. It is true that avg. age of the guest is 60 - because there are a lot of German, Austrian and Hungarian rentner. They sit at dinner table the whole dinner time. But this is not hotels foult. They just want to fill the hotel. The sorrounding is like the one in a resorts - very nice maintained and a lot of flowers. For a 3*'hotel in Croatia is very nice and the price is resonable.
