We have been living in Bosphorus room for three nights and really enjoyed staying in our hotel. At first, the location is good: 10 minutes to get to Topcapi palace and Gulhane park, so it was easy to get to the most important sightseengs. The second goal was our room which was clean, Ottoman-styled and very cozy. Breakfast is served on the rooftop restaurant, and we appreciated the city view from there. Finally, we highly recommend the hotel to spend your romantic vacation or family vacation in Istanbul.
Seres has a good location, only a few minutes walk to Galata Bridge and the embankment. The trains, buses are near. Thé restaurant is on the terrace and we enjoyed great views of Istanbul from there. This restaurant is open till midnight. Our room was clean, but there was no mirror in the shower room ((. Thé price is good for this place, we had a good time

Seres hotel was so clean ,but the room was small and the bathroom was small as well.the breakfast was very good and the staff was so kind ,but reseptions were not helpful.despite everything we enjoyed our holiday in that hotel.
My Opinions below: Location: Excellent - all main sites are within walking distance, you are in the heart of the old city, surrounded by restaurants, small shops for food and drink and a nearby tramline if required. Top marks here. Front Desk Hotel Staff: Unfortunately the front of desk staff are not helpful, they did not seem welcoming and general looked bored most of the time - they just didn't seem to care much. It would have been nicer to be greeted with a warmer welcome and maybe even a smile? Room: We stayed in a triple room, which is too small for 3 people to stay in - there are many small details which is letting this hotel down - they need tissues in the room, there is no bin other than the bathroom one which is far small - we asked for another and it was not provided. They did however remove some chairs to give us more space. The bathroom was OK cleanliness wise, not great when the shower door still has soap and gel stains from the last guests not cleaned off properly - in general they do an ok job of cleaning the room itself. Personally I didn't think the aircon really provided much help in terms of reducing the heat in the room, also the fan/extractor in the bathroom didn't work and this was reported and not fixed either. The biggest issue and it was frankly unacceptable was that that every single night the keycard to the door wouldn't work, after a long tiring day coming back to the hotel on the 6th floor and not being able to get in is not good enough - they had to recode the card everyday back and forth travelling up and down to the front desk - bit of a nightmare - other guests also had this issue and I reported it to the hotel manager. Other basic issues included not putting more tea sachets in the room each day, we had to ask for this to be done, when it should be automatic. Breakfast: Very good - fantastic selection of coffees/hot drinks, lots of food options and a beautiful baloney style dining area with amazing panorama views of Istanbul and the Bosporus river. Clean and wonderfully designed area is the highlight of the hotel, unlike the front desk staff, I was greeted every day with a Good morning, smile or Salaam. The staff here are fantastic and will go out their way to give help and advise you and chat away. They are a real credit to themselves and Istanbul. This team deserves a raise. Overall: This place has the potential to be great, but it's only average because of the many minor issues they need to address and fix. The Staff working the breakfast are amazing and deserve promotions. Top location - but a bit of a gamble. PS One of the lift's broke down as well and was fixed the next day.
The hotel is in the old city. Great view during the breakfast. Nice personal. Very helpful. Speaks English, Russian. Small and clean rooms. Everything is near including the tram station. Shops, restaurants, everything around. Great location for the reasonable price.
First of all i must praise the staff .. they are professionals and very welcoming i honestly give them 10/10 for their hospitality as for the accomedations .. the rooms are small .. the shower is fixed and they were no covers on the bed they were merely bed sheets .. the wifi is excellent and also the breakfast but the prices were a bit high for the place .. the view was wonderful on the 8tg floor on the terrace where we have our breakfast .. but what bothered my family and I were the small details like no tissue boxes in the room and only a garbage bin in the bathroom .. the cleaning was not perfect .. the family before me left food in the drawers and the whole time i was staying there no one even bothered to check or clean it i just left it there for them to figure out or find it . So those little details bothered us and thus i don't think we'll book this hotel again it was fine for this trip but not again.
I stayed here from 20-25 August with 8 members of my family (ages ranging from 2-55). We arrived at the hotel around midday on the first day and were welcomed by the friendly hotel staff. They rapidly checked all the booking confirmations and showed us in to our room. The rooms were decent size and we had good access to the wifi connection from our room. Breakfast was served on the 7th floor on the terrace. It has amazing views of both the Bosphorus and Sultanahmet mosque. A very nice place to eat breakfast and to plan your day, as wifi connection was good. The breakfast staff were lovely! Always asking if we were okay or if we needed anything. The location of the hotel is fabulous! Less than a 5 min walk to Sirkeci tram stop - we took the tram to the Grand Bazaar. A 7 min walk to Eminonu ferry port - we took the ferry boat from here to visit the Princes Islands. We walked to Topkapi palace and Sultanahmet. All in all the hotel itself was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.
