Enjoyed the stay staff very helpful, will return. Close to the Beach also, the Food in Restaurant very good.

We stayed in the little cottage closest to the beach. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Beautiful views, hammock on the deck, wood floors, a laid back vibe, our own pet cat (stray but friendly and clean), awesome maid service, very very good restaurant, scuba trips available daily, quick walk into West Bay bars/restaurants and a quick Water Taxi to West End bars/restaurants. If you are looking for a mega resort with all the interchangeable mainstream glut that makes you feel like you are back in Hawaii or Cabo or Miami or Cancun, look elsewhere.

Everything was perfect ladies in the office are really helpful they book any tour o anything you want to do. Thanks pasqual for everything

Property was nice, rooms sparse, poor lighting at night, no clock. basic bungalow. Waiters were awesome, food was good. tried to give us a room with one bed when two was requested and paid for, but it got resolved in our favor. great location, nice walking path. sparse beach chairs. Request for tipping daily were alittle much, maids, waiters and porters I can see but reception?? Reasonably priced accommodations.

The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The food at the restaurant was fantastic! Quiet, beautiful location. Would gladly go back again!

Bad customer service. Food wasn't great it was alright just to much salt or not enough.. same menu With not enough things to choose. Room was ok

I loved the comforts of home feeling of Las Rocas: Lovely rustic worn cabanas on the private beach. Pick up and return to airport as well as Breakfast included: by the way their food is excellent: not a bad meal or a bad experience. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming/security present 24/7. Having a dive center on premise is a convenience as well as location on the outskirts of West Bay but close enough to walk to west bay and close enough to walk to or take a cheap water taxi to explore West End. Very interesting place/diving was out of this world. As their logo says: 100% relaxation. I would definitely return again...I felt very safe. I would recommend a small microwave in each room to reheat leftovers. There is a small fridge/minibar. Everything was reasonably priced. Loved the hammock on the porch! If you are into the big frills and fancy atmosphere don't go...I had massage on the beach from a local for $20 for 45min...I've had many massages and this one was one of the best...I gave her $30 for it! Awesome bargain after a long day of traveling to the island. There are other lovely restaurants nearby that were all good!

Great place overall. UNLESS you enjoy warm showers and comfortable beds! Limited hot water especially during busy times. Also the bed is much like a picnic table. Ending up having to sleep on the couch/additional twin bed in the room to get a decent night sleep. Watch out for the evening bar tender! He can have some serious attitude and be really rude. Other than that, location couldn't be better, tucked around the corner yet so very close to the main beach and restaurants/bars. Grounds are beautiful! The dive shop is awesome, great staff really invested in making your dives the best ever. Just know if you are planning on renting equipment their's is a bit weathered and their boat while seaworthy is in need of an upgrade.

Great quiet location close to beach for snorkelling and close to woods for birdwatching, friendly staff, excellent food, not fancy but good value

the was very low on costumer service room towell was poor shower was to small the food was not that good, dinner we need to go some were because hotel dont have good food i will not go back again to las rocas

The hotel was in a great location. Not exactly on West Beach, but within a half minute walk. This is only frustrating if you want to lay out on the beach because chair rentals from the other restaurants/hotels usually cost $5-10 for the day. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were fine--good size, working A/C and mini fridge, and clean enough. If you're looking for a luxury resort, Las Rocas is not for you, but it's a great value for everything you get.

The room I stayed in was very small. It had no TV and we had to pay extra for wifi. The mattress was super hard and I could not get comfortable sleeping on it. During our stay, we had a little bit of an insect problem in our bathroom, which was fixed after we complained. The best part of this place is it's location (only about a minute walk to west bay beach) and the staff who were super nice.

The hotel has a great location, the staff is really nice, the rooms are clean. The only bad's comment I have is about the bed and pillows, the bed is not confortable and you can not sleep well. If the hotel changed the mattresses of their beds, this would be the perfect place to stay.

Entertaining bartenders, fine dining inexpensive, Very helpful, friendly, honest staff all around. scuba diving is very much enjoyed. snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, Island Culture, at its finest.

Very close for the sea and to West Bay and West End. You can snorkel, go by walking to the restaurants and by car in a day you can visit all the island.

bedsheets has blood stain (mosquitoes? ), not changed daily. Also found bugs in bedsheets. Cleaner bed & sheets would have made a diff w/ my stay at Las Rocas.

The hotel is old and not well maintained. For example, the towels are in rags and not always available, since they seem to be in short supply. The bathroom was more or less functional. Only hotel where you can't drink from the tap and you have to pay for the first bottle of water, in my experience. Food was adequate but is mostly not exciting in the whole area. The hotel is located a short walk from the best snorkeling area, which is very good. We did not use the Dive Shop. The ownership is apparently Italian, as is much of the clientele. We survived the stay and did not get sick. The personnel were fairly helpful.

Las Rocas was a charming spot, DIVING WAS WONDERFUL! The group was small and the dive staff gave us wonderful individual attention. Guests who are not completely focussed on diving might find it a bit limited, especially off-season. Dinner was not available as the restaurant closed at 5. Not a problem unless it was raining. Walking several minutes both ways in the pouring rain to get dinner was less than appealing. Was glad I had remembered to bring a flashlight. Also, Las Rocas managed to forget to meet me at the airport, despite confirmation of flight info. [...]

Really we needed our time alone in a peaceful environment, and Las Rocas Hotel was the perfect answer. Freindly personnel, lot of daily smiles and excellent Customer Service. Anything we asked for was answered with courtesy and promptness. We sense the we do care attitude with sincerity and, why not to say it: The Las Rocas staff put their heart at work. Definitely we recommend Las Rocas Resort and Dive Center for any type of celebration.

GREAT LOCATION, SNORKELLING RIGHT OFF BEACH, DIVE SHOP SUPERB, VERY REASONABLE $. [...] (DIVE MASTER) VERY HELPFUL AND SAFE, MADE DIVES FUN AND EASY. SMALL GROUP DIVES. ALL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY MADE US FEEL AT HOME. BEST TRIP EVER!
