Parking right outside reception. Check in very easy, staff very helpful. Rooms were nice and clean, decent shower. Ski lockers are in a decent location with access to the back door. Just a shame there wasn't snow on the lower ground to ski into. Breakfast was ok. The public areas could do with updating. Near to the village ski lift and ski hire shops.
We stopped for four nights over easter and were very happy with our stay. The staff are all very friendly and nice, there is a nice feel to the hotel. We had breakfast each morning which we did not have to wait for, the selection was good with fruits, cereals, yoghurts, breads, cooked food including an egg chef. The room was good and the bed was comfortable we had a nice view looking over the side of the hotel. There was no noise at night and we had a really good sleep every time. There is a local swimming pool just next door with a gym and steam room and sauna. The location of the hotel is good with access to the village lift for skiing maybe 5 minute walk away. Would recommend staying here for families or couples or even small groups wanting to enjoy the scenery and ski.
Firstly THE FOOD in Hotel IBIZA is absolutely EXCELLENT .... Kostas the patisserie chef creates the most fantastic desserts you will definitely need to ski more to burn off the chocolate & cream :-) The rooms are cleaned immaculately by ANNA and her team with a bright and cheerful "Bonjour" every morning as you leave for the slopes. MAGIC Tom is TRULY MAGIC .... not only will he entertain Adults and Children with his amazing tricks .. but he also runs a highly entertaining KAREOKE evening. He is the most customer focused person in the whole resort :-) ... Thank you all for making our annual skiing holiday so wonderful.
Stayed here for a few nights for a business convention. First of all, the location is pretty good, next door to the Club Med. (Please note that if you are looking for old style villages like in Austria or Italy, Les Deux Alpes is not for you. Skiing is excellent ; the village is an artificial block of concrete with little to offer) Check in was quick and during my stay the staff was trying their best and they were all helpful and kind. Unfortunately, the general state of the hotel and rooms is not up to standards and the place is in dire need of a renovation. The 4-star rating is solely based on the availability of certain services but is not at all reflected in the look and feel of the hotel. I would rate it a very moderate 3 star hotel and only due to the staff who try their best. There is not much to be said about the rooms, public spaces and meeting rooms but that they are in need of a total overhaul. Not much has changed since this hotel has been built and it shows its age. Overall, it has a very tired and worn out look. In the current state, I would not even consider staying here. To be renovated and then reviewed again.
We stayed over Christmas with our three little kids, and the hotel was perfect: great breakfast both cold snd hot, dinner buffet with a lot of choices, staff very kind. Rooms are large and clean wiyh beautiful view on the mountains. Plus, very close lift to the ski runs. As overall beauty, i would not consider it a 4 stars...adding a refrigerator in the room woud help...
We have been coming here skiing for 5 years. this year we thought we would try the Mercure as it had a 4* rating and wanted a nice hotel as it's early in the season and weren't sure if it would be worth full days skiing. Firstly be aware it's a 20 mins walk to town if you can't get the bus which stops around 6pm each night... The rooms are dated, they don't appear to have been touched since the 1970s. The double bed is two singles pushed together with single sheets on. The toilet seat was chipped and looked disgusting, the shutter over our door was broken, the amenities in the bathroom were never replaced by house keeping nor was the single water bottle that was in the room on the first day!. On the first night in the bed I found a used fake nail!! which suggests to me the sheets were not clean. The breakfast on the first morning was dismal, it was open until 10am we went at 8am, what a waste of time, there was nothing left. No bread for toast, the fruit was gone the pastrys were gone there was no milk left for the cereal ditto there was zero orange juice, to top it off no one mentioned we could order hot food!! I'm unsure what we paid for. The 2 positives the girls at reception were lovely and it has a lift close by. All in all, I would have accepted all of this for half the price and a 2* rating but as it stands I feel entirely ripped off!! If you book this be aware of what you are getting.
Well what about ... unsatisfactory kind but unprofessional staff prices are very high both in the bar and as fee for the stay in this hotel of four stars in name only, clean rooms but not year even a fridge for drinks are cheated by the mode of reservation after I pay at the hotel not having read the information that is, let me explain better I booked a week before the stay and how to book saying that the reservation could be canceled only 15 days before not to let me cancel unless I had not paid the 75 percent of the 7 days have not enjoyed living crazy !! I believe it is not even registered as a reservation mode after I pay at the hotel at the reception I was told that there was no way to cancel it. Textual words that maybe I should talk to the French President for a refund ... but nice just the correct thing !!! I was not asked for any identification also believe illegal in Europe in my opinion a good two star nothing more! prices from comprehensively. the bar of a four star hotel can not fail to be well stocked with quality spirits and drinks and a great choice here the bar seemed a kiosk of a beach with even the shutters have liqueurs and locked drawers and cash were never the change to be given a note to the director as soon as possible to take measures to improve.
Having started our three day break by booking the hotel from hell we fled after the first night to the Mercure that I'd also seen when looking to book. What a difference! A beautifully decorated, large room with huge bed plus two spare singles. Large flat screen TV. Great choice of complimentary drinks, fabulous bathroom and the nicest staff you've ever met from housekeeping to bar , restaurant and reception. Breakfast was great too. Only one negative , we joined a buffet that was laid on for a tour and though expensive it was the only thing to complain about. However because everything else was so exceptional we didn't feel inclined to say anything. Definitely coming back here. Thanks Mercure.
I stayed in this hotel four nights. I was looking for the Mercure standards and honestly it took a while. This was due to the fact that this is 'iinter-season'. The hotel accommodates a number of ski-groups at this moment. This made things a bit more complicated for a 'longe ranger' as myself. First day I had to take breakfast in the bar again due to the pressure of the sportive groups who need specific food. That all changed the second day. I enjoyed a nice although still sports-inspired breakfast. And in the evening I was part of a nice dinner buffet. The staff has been most friendly and helpful as from the beginning. They have not stopped asking me if everything is ok. So I am feeling quite well in this place. The hotel is located 200 m altitude above the village. It takes a curved road to reach it, but that is no problem after all. The hotel as ample covered parking space. The cosy bar (and terrace) gives a great outlook toward the surrounding mountains. I suppose that this hotel would be great to stay in the high season as it is located away from the busy heart of Les2Alpes. It radiates a lot of relaxing calm.
Very average, the bedding quality is below expectations and really needs to be replaced ; I assume the bathrooms were renovated recently, good point ; The breakfast variety is in ine with what you could expect for the price requested. Overall cleanliness is satisfactory. Don't fret to request your wifi passwod at front desk, it is complimetary for in-house guest, I discover it the following day.... one day stay is fine.
