The hotel in a good location and served our purposes hosting our American Legion Auxiliary National President.

the breakfast could have been better, but ove the rooms and was clean

I really don't know how to rate this hotel so I will get straight to the pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful and quiet location with perfect view of interstate and surreal landscape; perfect access to attractions, restaurants, and stores; friendly staff; very clean rooms; great price Cons: Window leaked during rain events; TOO pet friendly (dogs all over the place with many parts smelling like a kennel at times and dogs accessible to food during breakfast which I felt was disgusting and should not have been allowed); breakfast was very limited without a great selection; children running up and down hallway and dogs barking; very slow response to service requests; only two elevators with one inoperable much of the time If you are a pet lover, this is the hotel for you. If not, I would advise you do not stay here. Overall, stay was ok.

Check-in was a breeze. The hotel is new, the room was spacious and quiet, the staff was friendly. I was totally satisfied and it was well worth what I paid.

We stayed 2 nights and loved the room. We were on the top (6th) floor. There was a living room area, small kitchen area with a sink and fridge. An office area and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The small bar in the lobby had a nice happy hour and everyone on the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Usually when a breakfast is included your choice may be oatmeal, cold cereal and bagels. But here it was all you want buffet breakfast. There were eggs, grits, sausage, fruit, bagels, toast, a couple of juice choices and of course good hot coffee. If we're in Columbia, SC again we would definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed here a little out of town for parents weekend and about a third of the price! Right off the highway but not noisy! Clean and great staff!

The hotel was lovely and the room comfortable. Twice, however, I returned to my room after being gone for the day to find beds still not made up once of which I had to actually make up myself from sheets stripped from the beds and dumped on the sofa. Twice I had to seek out fresh towels once calling to the front desk and asking for some and being told I had to come down to pick them up. And, as I stayed for seven nights, not once was our soap supply replenished! Also went to the refreshment stand to grab bedtime snacks for my grandchildren and spent more than an hour waiting for an order of chips and dip! And there was no one else there waiting for food! How could dumping chips on a plate and salsa and cheese in a bowl possibly take that long? Lastly, why no microwave in rooms?

The hotel was nice and clean and had a lot of amenities. Disappointed when we checked in and found out because we booked through a third party that they did not have a king size bed available that we had booked and paid for instead they downsized us to a room with two double beds not ideal for two people on a romantic vacation and they said our booking was not guaranteed. Not happy about that.

the Hyatt is a very nice place but the bathroom is very small and the cable went out a lot and the picture was fuzzy .All in all nice place

Very nice, spacious room and comfortable bed. The hotel is near to some good restaurants but be advised that they are very crowded on a Saturday night! Easy on and off the interstate and a good breakfast in the morning.

Nice Staff nice location. Probably the best and nicest hotel in columbia, SC.

I have stayed here before and the room was very comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast the next morning was very good.

The hotel was wonderful. I am a single woman and they gave me a 1st floor room near the lobby, rather than the 3rd floor room which was slated for me. The hotel is beautiful, room clean, lots of amenities, I missed the hot breakfast because I enjoyed my room so much that I didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here on multiple times. The beds are wonderful! The hotel is close to Irmo and Dutch Fork High Schools. It is also less than a mile from Columbiana Mall.(Excellent Shopping) The Hyatt is across the street from a brand new hospital. Thus, a great location if you have to visit someone. In addition, it is located right off the I-26, easy on and off. While there is not a formal dining area in the hotel, the hotel has a place to purchase snacks and drinks. The hotel is also next to a Cracker Barrel.

Convenient to everything without being in the heart of it. Nice clean room and friendly staff. Will stay again next time in town.

We have three kids and it is rare to find a room with two double beds and a pull out couch. The building and facility was newer and well maintained. Pool was great (pool open from 6am till 10pm the night we were there).

we got a great deal on a 2 queen bedroom suite. wonderful staff, great ambiance, nice swimming pool. complimentary hot breakfast in a small breakfast room. i wish we could have stayed for another night but we had already made other travel arrangements.

Great location with easy access off i26. Short drive to downtown and lake Murray.

When getting check in. The staff did not even tell us where the elevators were located. The beds were hard as a rock to sleep on.
