Charming hotel for adult only in the center of Seefeld. Everything here is clean and well decorated and the staff care about each customer with attention. The half board is a good value as the cooking staff is always trying to make the experience enjoyable. We did appreciate very much the modern and stylish Spa area open from 8 am to 8 pm which offer lots of quality equipment (sauna ...) and a lovely Pool / Jacuzzi where you can swim naked if you love to (clothing optional) . Perfect time spent there . We will come back
Stayed here recently and thought the facilities were great. Wonderful gym, modern spa and nice rooms. There is a something hugely problematic with the place though. There are two different price packages (as with most hotels) when you book. Half board or Bed and Breakfast. Pretty standard stuff. Where it’s all rather odd and pretty disgusting, is that if you have bed and breakfast only, you have to sit in a separate room away from other guests and have a sub-standard breakfast. It’s not simply a case of not eating in the restaurant in the evening, it’s like there’s a weird class divide. Constantly kept separate and reminded that you’re not as important. You are not waited on as effectively; are given poorer food products and generally thought less of by most staff. We experienced a very angry and rude waiter during our stay. To the point that my fiancé had to defend herself from his rude comments when he was often unhelpful. It was so unexpected and certainly what anyone needs or wants first thing in the morning over a leisurely breakfast. I have been travelling and working in Seefeld for some 12 years. I’ve never experienced anything like this. My German is good and we love the village. We couldn’t believe the lack of care for the people experiencing the B&B package here. I have been involved in the local community in Seefeld for many years, but I’ll never stay at this hotel again. Which is such a shame, because it really is a good quality hotel in terms of amenities and decor. The location is nice and central, and perfect really, as long as you can cope with the church bells. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that two of the 4 desk staff were friendly and exceptionally professional throughout (Mary-Jane and Renee). The remaining two and the bulk of the waiting team, were absolutely appalling (the girl who conducted ‘Aufgus’ one afternoon, walked into the sauna fully clothed, waved the towel around the space once and walked out. Taking a full 1 minute maximum. This is NOT aufgus! Haha). We did not feel looked after during our stay. At all. The attention to detail and ironically the ‘Love’ is just not there.
This hotel is perfect for couples in love. We spent a week there with my Wife, and we enjoyed our vacation. Service was great, hotel itself is indeed made for couples... Fall in love. Food in hotel was excellent. Rooms big, modernized but very cozy. Pool area is big and very clean. Surroundings are wonderful for hiking and mountaineering. Great location for car trips to Alps surrounding the town.
Location of hotel was very good, however due to noise it was not possible to keep windows open at night and since there was no air condition, the room was too hot. Service was extremely unpolite. It seemed impossible for the staff to apologise for things that went wrong (for example we were given a room not cleaned and our eye-glasses were taken from room to the lost and found box). The staff at terrace restaurant was a nice exception: very friendly! In breakfast room there were reserved seats for those with half board and the rest of us had to take tables at a side room. This felt very awkward.
Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The downsides first. As ha been mentioned by other reviewers the bells at the church next door start at 7am. I am an early riser so didn’t mind but if you like a lie in, good earplugs are essential. My room was clean but the bathroom fittings and tiling seem to date from the 80s and coulda do with updating. Now the pluses. With out exception I found the staff exceptionally polite and helpful. If it werewi5in my gift I would give the restaurant a Michelin star. I ate half board. The dinner ran to 5 courses. The menu changed daily. The quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. Breakfast was not quite to the same standard if you were expecting the English variety.. The German type of cold meats, sausage and cheese was good. I found the spa and pool well laid out and very pleasant.
We have spent here our silver wedding anniversary and were truly amazed! Starting with an amazing suite, delicious food and relaxing spa. The cook chief was a real wonder! He and all hotel staff have made our stay unforgettable! Love to come back one day!
Really friendly people showed extreme politeness to 7 kids in total from our table messing the whole place up. Quite impressive wine selection , top quality meat and the best carbonara I had for many years now . Highly recommended
Great get a way with you beloved partner. You will enjoy every minute from check-in until check-out. Stylish room varieties, excellent restaurant and staff, unbeatable view to mountains and one of best location (downtown, 5min walk to train station, groceries and shops are around the corner. The only thing that is required is Fitness room maintenance, machines are almost outdated and in bad shape.
We were on our way back from Switzerland and Austria and decided to stay overnight before heading to Fussen. I came across this hotel and discovered it’s located in a quaint resort area outside of Innsbruck. The hotel was wonderful from the pool, to the saunas and the breakfast was good as well. A great spot to relax after a long week of travel and on the romantic side. I get the sense it’s a very open community hotel in that clothes were optional in some areas:) Nonetheless it’s a great, relaxing spot for couples to have a getaway for a romantic weekend or just an overnight stay.
Top notch hotel, what a find! Chosen purely as a stop over but the hotel and beautiful Seefeld pedestrianised town delighted us so much we stayed another night. Superb Spa which in mixed and naked, wonderful swimming pool and relaxation rooms. Friendly staff and guests. Our spacious room was second floor at the front overlooking the square, could just about see the snow-caped mountain peaks from the balcony, would have liked a room on a higher floor and tea/coffee making facility. As others have said, the Church bells (very loud) start at 7am weekdays, later on the weekend. Dinner in the Hotel restaurant was delicious, breakfast really good, local entertainment close by. Seefeld is 1200m above sea level so only 2-3c at night mid September, winter clothing required. Smoking permitted inside the Hotel bar and some local bars have indoor smoking rooms. Underground hotel parking spaces are limited and cost 9 euros a night, alternative free parking offered but some distance away. Taxi from Innsbruck airport 50 euros. Our first time in Austria and it didn't disappoint. Traditional band playing through the streets at night, the whole place impeccably spotless and the very essence of picturesque. Wish we had spent more time here instead of very, very expensive Switzerland. Seefeld is hosting the 2019 Nordic World Championships so there is some construction work ongoing but don't let this put you off as this is work is around the train station and just outside the main town. To be honest we were totally blown away by this experience. We don't ski but are planning to return to Seefeld around Christmas.
