It was probably a beautiful place 30 years ago, but has been in a state of neglect for a long time. Seems like the owners were new and trying to do something with the property, but shouldn't be open yet. I took pictures of stained sheets, lipstick smudges on towel, lock on door broken, etc. to post but doesn't look like I can. All that said, it could be a really beautiful place if they can find the financing to do it. Bones look solid, but inside needs a complete overhaul.

Everything was average. Exactly what I expected for the price so I would stay there again. Not a far drive from downtown so it was nice being close and still able to save money compared to expensive downtown hotels.

They need new staff all the way around. None of them are very inviting. When I pay decent money for a suite, I expect a little kindness or better welcoming environment.

I like the memories I've had with this place throughout my 20+ years. My family stays there when they come to visit, I've had drinks in there with friends when they had a bar in there. However, this year had been extremely rough for myself and my family. We lost my father, my grandmother, and our home burnt down and we lost our 4 pets in the fire as well. So when I go to our favorite spot to escape for a night, I'd hoped it would be as it always was. Friendly staff, clean, well put together rooms, and just a pleasant place all the way around. That wasn't the case this time. The front desk person looked at me like I was trash and couldn't believe I paid for a suite. Well, looks fade but kindness and courtesy go a long way. When entering the room, you get blown away by how homey and big the room is. When talking a better look around I found a rusted bathtub, broken and cracked outlets, half the outlets didn't work, lamps were missing lightbulbs, and the mini fridge was missing it's freezer door. The bathroom paint was chipped and missing and made my unpleasant front desk experience mixed with the unkept room a less than pleasant experience. Which for the price and it being a suite, I expected a little more.

Was okay for the money. Room was clean and bed was good. Bathroom ceiling fan sounded like an airplane, not working right. Room was off atrium and had heavy chlorine smell. Eyes started to burn when walking around the pool area in the atrium; just too much chlorine in the air. Sometimes had to wait for front desk staff.

Nice entrance front. Interior needs painted , floors in elevators miasing tiles/needs painted. No enougu breakfest food set out spills, cearel milk. Shower handle broken.

Pool & hot tub unusable, rooms under renovation & not tidy

Hotel is not well maintained and room was not clean.

the place was a dump. It needs a lot of help to get up to a minimal acceptance standard. Bath tub had mold. Rooms need paint and other cosmetic improvements. Staff friendly and mostly helpful but not the brightest.

My phone did not work to call the front desk. I had to call from my cell phone to get them. The smoke alarm in my room was hanging from the ceiling as if it was ready to fall off the wiring. I reported it and was told it would be fixed when I returned to my room. It was never fixed. I asked to be moved to another room but none was available so I was stuck in that room for the entire weekend. In all honesty though it wasn't a bad hotel for the price. They were undergoing renovations so that made the appearance something to be desired.

The hotel is very in need of repairs. The place is just in rough shape.

Excellent location for Indy 500. Air conditioner wasn’t working in room. I should of asked for another room. I’m sure they would of accommodated me

Cheaper, free breakfast. Indoor pool and hot tub. Checked in immediately in under 3 minutes. Parking lot easy to find. Simple place.

Upon entering the lobby, i was not greeted at the desk immediately. I checked in and he handed me two keys, he wasnt sure exactly where my room was. We came in through an outside door that was not locked. Upon entering our room..it only had a bottle of conditioner. I went to the front desk to ask for some soap...he had no idea. At this point i was upset and went to inspect the room closer. It didn't appear as though it had been cleaned in the bathroom. We checked out immediately. Front desk could have cared less.

Swimming pool clean and nice. I'll recommend to my family and friends

This hotel is in need of some updates, it is much cheaper than other hotels & usually has vacancies when everything else is booked.

A really nice hotel around 1982....rooms are dated and not well kept.

Clean and well Maintained hotel. Only complaint was the air conditioning didn't adequately cool the room.

I'm so sorry that you felt your room was not cleaned and that the Hotel is not well maintained. A new management team started in the last couple of weeks and I'm sure you will see vast improvements. We hope you will give us another chance soon.
