Super 8 Indianapolis/NE/Castleton Area

We arrived late but were greeted by two staff members. They were out of singles but upgraded us to a king suite for free. The building layout is strange, as most of the rooms are in different buildings. This is probably not a big deal normally, but it was very cold that night and so it was frustrating for us to keep going outside to get to our room. The room was in decent shape but had some issues - maybe it was mid-way through a remodel? The towel rack was broken, and the sofa bed was in bad shape and missing sheets. The king bed was very nice, but one side of the bed was completely wet - not smelly, but wet. When we called to inform them, we were offered to switch rooms, which we declined due to the late hour. We could not sleep on the sofabed due to the poor condition and lack of sheets on it. We decided to flip the mattress over to have a place to sleep. We asked for dry sheets and blankets, but we had to go and get them ourselves (across the parking lot in a different building). We did fine after that, but it was a frustrating night overall. This place could be really nice, but it needs some work overall.

On the plus side, it is right next to highway 69 and many restaurants, but that's about all it has going for it. As a young female, I was terrified when I first walked in. The staff was interacting with who I'm guessing are other people staying in the hotel, all men who kept staring at me and making odd comments. I was first assigned a room that someone else was already in, that was awkward. When I went to switch, again with the staring and the comments. I ended up in a room finally that was very dirty with stains. The bed had tarp underneath it which not only was frightening to me, but also made noise any time I moved in the bed. The mattress felt like a boxspring, I did not sleep at all. Did not take a shower either because of a lack of soap and towels. I basically payed $XX to watch tv all night long. This place is probably acceptable for couples or families just looking for a place to rest during a long trip, but if you're a female by yourself, don't do it. I originally was into the fact that it had a continental breakfast, but after the experience I had thus far, I wasn't going to try it out. I just left. Will not come back unfortunately.

The first room I was put in smelled like mold and cat. I saw a piece of cat food on the floor and says pet friendly. I was wearing socks and the carpet was soaked near bathroom. Very disappointed and wasted 130 on 2 nights

Good value for your money although a challenge to locate at night .

First 3 minutes in the room we saw 2 bugs. Yes, it's a super 8, but we expect it to be clean! The floor was filthy, too!

Did not like the set up I was in building 5 in the back it was dark I had to walk in the back of the building with my kids. The deadbolt on the door did not fasten. Had to walk to main building just to eat breakfast so we opted out of that. I was told it was 13 miles from my destination when it was really 18 miles which makes a big difference in your traveling. I will never stay there again. Was not satisfied at all.

Most definitely NOT worth the $112 I was charged! My king suite was not clean. Bugs in the jacuzzi tub. Outside pool's water was green. Very disappointed.

room was very big which was nice but it was in definite need of tlc. there were no smoke detectors in our room either. Stayed 1 night for indy 500 so it fit our needs as we were only there a few hours to sleep.

Just stayed one night and this place is relatively less expensive than other hotels in the area. Free internet was a nice add. The room was big and had everything I needed. However, the carpet was a stained and didn't look all that clean, and some of the furniture was a bit beat up. Overall, it was a good value. I will likely stay again when I need to go back to the area.

I was just passing through so I didn't need much extra and this place was pretty basic. Staff was above average, but beyond that it was average. The motel consists of several buildings; my room overlooked a small lake. The room had that ingrained smoke smell (not overpowering, but noticeable). The breakfast was frozen waffles and such. Location was just off the interstate, but required turning on a couple of streets to get to it.

It wasn't that bad could have been a little cleaner staff was great

The first night I stayed in a room where the wi-fi didn't connect, the mattresses were ancient and lopsided, and the bedspreads curtains were full of holes. The bathroom floor was dirty and there were motion sensors on all the lights so they kept going on when I didn't want that and off when I didn't want that either. I mentioned this to the manager and was upgraded to a suite for the next two nights. The wi-fi, mattress and lights issues were still present but the room was a bit cleaner. The staff was very understanding and cooperative and the stay would have been ok but for the fact that the franchise owners just don't seem to want to put the money into the place to make it attractive and comfortable.

I chose this hotel because it was cheap. Well, I should have splurged a little. I chose a non-smoking room that smelled so strongly of cigarettes that I had a headache every morning. The room was moldy and cold. When I turned on the heater in the room a terrible burning smell came from it (different than the cigarette smoke smell I might add). Problem is that it happened to be cold outside and the doors weren't sealed tightly so a draft came in all night. To top it all off, the blankets and sheets were much too thin. Bottom line, if you don't feel like smelling like sour cigarette smoke all day because the smell permeated your non-smoking room and you want a good night's rest... choose somewhere else.

I was graduating college the next morning, and I needed an iron, which I had to wait until the next morning. When I finally got it, it was broke and leaked water all over my shirt. Add that to a dirty room, started my graduation the wrong.

Great place with great staff. Loved the views and the location was great. Will be going back next year with more people.

They couldn't change our room - had nothing to remove the smoke (like an ionic filter) - there were bottle caps and parts of rusted eye glasses under the bed.

We booked this hotel last minute for a concert in Noblesville, IN. The hotel was very close to the venue. The room was large, and the bed was amazing! We booked this hotel for a great price so I didn't get my hopes up. All the staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. This hotel definitely deserves more than 2 stars. My one and only complaint is the way you get into the hotel. It was a little confusing, they need more signs on the main road of how to get to it. Over all VERY satisfied, and will stay there again if we go back to Noblesville/ Indianapolis.

This place was cheap, I paid around 50, I guess you get what you pay for. There was a loose floorboard under threadbare carpet that had wrinkles. The sheets seemed clean, the TV was ok, but the walls and the floor, everything was in terrible shape. If you live in a 70's vintage single wide, that hasn't been maintained in any way, then you may feel right at home.

Refrigerated semi-truck parked across the street was noisy. The WiFi connection varied from "excellent" to "disconnected."

Good to stay considering the rate
