While the Landing personnel were very kind and helpful, this type of listing just doesn’t belong on VRBO. The booking and check-in process were an ordeal because Landing’s primary purpose is a rental/leasing platform. Why they needed third party background checks and identity verification (beyond what VRBO does) for a two day stay is beyond me. Additionally, all the check in info sent referred to check-in as “move-in.” When we finally got to the property, it took forever for the door to unlock (you have to download a whole separate app to book and access the place), the WiFi wasn’t working, and the smell of pot was overwhelming. That said, the location’s proximity to shopping and the Fishers Event Center was great. The unit itself was clean and there were thoughtful amenities left to make the stay pleasant.All in all, if you’re looking for an extended stay, this could be a good fit for you. But, if you’re hoping for an easy get away in an alternative to a hotel—this just isn’t it.
