Nice older building, elevator sounded like it was ready to quit. The heat didn't work and the room was very cold.

the room was very nice... Breakfast was ok... a lot of construction taking place in the lobby...could have done a better job to conceal the construction...

I had a great stay!! The staff was great, the room was great and the upgrades were lovely. The only thing I did not like was that they had a lot of remodeling going and my room was on the 1st floor and so when I step out of my room I was right smack in it and that took away from the lovely cozy hotel feel but overall it was a great stay.

Rates increased 45% found out way...remodel underway. Plus room bathroom appearred to gave been straightened but not cleaned. Hair in bathroom, bed and garbage in bin that was not ours.

Close to my corporate office meeting. Close to plenty of restaurants.

Very clean rooms. Wifi didn't work. No towels in pool. Any staff I ran into that wasn't behind the front desk was quite rude. Was good for us, only in hotel for a couple hours total.

Beds were very comfortable . Quiet room. At checkout the desk clerk wouldn't give me a receipt. ..

We were on the third floor with a noisy elevator. Having a dog, it was difficult to take her outside when she needed to go. We could not find a special area for walking our dog -- although there was a lot of grass in the vicinity. The bathroom was old looking and the beds were quite high.

This hotel was clean, neat, and well maintained! The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. For all the hotels available in this area, this was by far the best option and value! I'll be staying there again next time I'm in that area.

Nothing bad to say about the Motel. It was quiet as a tomb and if you didn't sleep it was on you. The Building looks old and could use some upgrade or a facelift.

Our stay at this hotel was pretty good! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, and due to the non-smoking policy, there was no odor of smoke. However, the TV made a weird noise when turned on, and we had to turn the volume down to diminish the annoying background noise. Despite this issue, the room was fine. I wish the pool was bigger; it is suitable for children, however. Overall, I'd rate my stay a 4/5.

Hotel os ok, you get what you pay for. Not the cleanist but not the dirties. They do look in quality cleaning, but it is clean. Lots of dirt in corners and such. Breakfast is extremely basic and low quality. If you need a cheap place to stay you'll be ok.

Can't beat the price. Had no problems at all, once I found the hotel. I knew the general location of the hotel, but there are no signs on Michigan Rd. for the hotel, so you have to be looking behind the street front businesses to see/find it. I'd definitely stay again though.

I enjoyed the room (bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows) and the pool was nice, but the one problem was the air-conditioner. It was soooo loud that it kept me up all night. Every time the compressor kicked on it would jolt me awake! I did mention it to the front desk person and he said he would have maintenance check it out but that didn't really help me! Anyway, its right across from a few nice places to eat so convenience as far as that goes as well as the fact that its just off the main street that leads right into the downtown area-straight shot about 11 miles down. I'd consider staying again if I had a quieter air-conditioner.

reserved a room w/queen size bed - got full size - very small room and even though supposed non-smoking room could still smell cigarette smoke

It was exactly what we expected for that price and according the hotel descriptions on the web.

I found the hotel and staff to be friendly, competent and caring! It was such a relief to find clean accommodations without having to pay an arm and a leg!

It was a good enough deal and good enough experience, though nothing spectacular. Pool was nice, continental breakfast a bit bland, some fixtures cheap-looking, very convenient location, microwave and mini-fridge in room a pleasant surprise, staff perfunctory rather than friendly, but overall entirely adequate.

overall ... met our needs. Wasn't spectacular and abut unsure as to why we got a wheelchair access room.

The staff was very helpful, fun and informative. Also, La Quinta's free-long-distance policy comes in handy (apparently I'm the only human on the planet who doesn't have a cell phone!)
