Everything we did was within walking distance. Great location with friendly staff.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, courteous and eager to make our stay awesome. People and service make such a difference.

Wonderful location sits right beside the circle mall

Beware, standard rooms are very small and outdated.

Close to downtown attractions. Easily within walking distance to many popular spots. Friendly and helpful staff.

The double beds were rather small for sleeping comfort. Would not accept double beds again. Rooms were clean, hotel staff including housekeeping staff very friendly. Breakfast was acceptable. Hotel is very close to numerous restaurants, good sized mall, and Lucas oil stadium is within walking distance. Would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn again.

Went for the Colts/Broncos game. Hotel is in walking distance to the stadium but also Indy's downtown area. Had a blast!

Most of my trip was mediocre. The staff was welcoming when we arrived. The rooms were ok, not the cleanest, but not the worst I have ever stayed in. The room was pretty small and the beds were tight for sleeping two grown adults. The room was super simple, pretty much just a bed and a bathroom, no extra stuff including no fridge. This would normally give my stay a 2-3 star rating or just below average. Then, my trip ended with finding out that my car had been broken into while it was under watch of the valet. My car was not locked by the valet and was left unwatched overnight in the middle of downtown Indianapolis. Additionally, later I found out that the valet here also parks a good chunk of their cars in an alley way around the corner of the hotel, which is completely unsafe. I paid the entire valet fee to park my car overnight to only have things stolen from my vehicle and nothing done about it by the valet service. They played dumb when it came to investigating how things could have been stolen out of my car when they were responsible for it. I would NOT recommend this hotel to any one as a place to stay in downtown Indy. I have stay in several hotels that are similar in price, in the same location, that have a lot more respect for their customers and are more trustworthy than this hotel. If you are looking to book at this hotel, look elsewhere.

Hampton Inns are hands down the most consistently excellent hotel chain. Every one I have stayed in has been clean, reasonably priced, free wi-fi, great staff, good (included) breakfast, and a gym. The one in downtown Indy is no exception - and smack dab in the center of downtown. When I travel, I always look for a Hampton Inn. Always.

Staff was great hotel was clean and close to great restaurants and hi way access

Our stay was very nice. We stayed in a corner suite that was very spacious and clean. The parking was reasonable though a lack of valet personel was apparent. Good overall hotel.

totally awesome !!! this hotel has top notch service and great food and prefect location

The staff was wonderful, rooms clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. The valet parking is nice, too. They are always quick to retrieve you vehicle when it is needed. The excellent breakfast bar provides foods that meet all dietary needs and preferences! This is the place to stay in downtown Indianapolis!!

The hotel was in a great location (one block away from Monument Circle. The staff was very friendly. The hotel room was nice and clean. However, the room was small, considering the price. The continental breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel if people want to stay in the downtown area.

Check in was quick and easy even though they were busy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little old but they have it in tip top shape. Would stay again especially if I were going to an event at the field house.

No fan in the bathroom and the bathroom sink did not drain properly and no mini fridge, just enough to give it a mediocre rating!

We went for a girl'a weekend. Great location and nice hotel.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, recommending a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The room was clean and spacious, the whirlpool tub was the perfect end to a relaxing, romantic day, and the pillows were AMAZING!!

We chose this hotel specifically due to the convenient location. Unfortunately, I missed the fact that there is no pool, only a work out room. When we went to the room we immediately noticed the 2 full beds but no place for the 5th person, a child, to sleep. My husband went to the main desk and was informed the room was posted as accommodations for 4, but if we wanted a cot we would have to pay an extra $25 per day and we were lucky they didn't make us book a second room. The desk staff seemed irritated that we had booked through a "third party" so were not obligated to offer an additional cot without charge. We were already paying over $150 per night so said we were not interested in the additional expense. We spent 3 very uncomfortable nights there since I didn't know if/when I could get a refund on the room. They also moved my car away from the hotel to a more open community lot up the block which made me even more concerned about break in and theft of items from the car, while they had possession. I should have stayed out of town or at a different hotel. I will avoid booking through this travel site again and will not be staying at this hotel chain in the future.

From the time my friends and I came until the time we left, the hotel staff were very courteous and welcoming. Although I was a little hesitant about the whole valet thing and leaving my keys with someone, it turned out great. We didn't have to worry about parking the car (although we didn't need it with the location we were in) and it was 18 for each night, which is a fair price. We were right smack dab in the middle of everything; clubs, bars, restaurants, festivals and the mall. Only thing that I wish was apart of the room was a mini fridge considering I always have leftovers. Also, I've never had housekeeping knock on the door as early as they did (9 am) but I'm pretty sure you can put do not disturb or request that they do not come. Overall I would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Hi, We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the location. I apologize for the size of the rooms, as the hotel once was old railroad offices. We appreciate all feedback and will share with our Engineering department and corporate office. Thank you
