Our room faced the front looking at A1A. The room had a king bed. Under the sheet was a badly stained felt cover. The little table with 2 chairs, the small dresser and the kitchenette top were dirty. The mini microwave was dirty and rusty inside & out. We complained to the woman in the office & asked her for rags & disinfectant so we could clean. She gave us a torn rag (no disinfectant) & my husband did the best he could. Since we got to the place after 6:30 pm & after dusting we went out to dinner. When we got back we then noticed the condition of what was under the bedsheet. I then went to the bathroom and the shower floor had standing water. I went to the front office & the sign said that it was closed from 9 pm to 7 am the following morning. I went up and took one the face towels and wiped the shower floor. The face towel was black with dirt-yuk. The shower drain was completely clogged! We were not able to bathe that evening. At about 11:30 pm cops were on the property arresting a man. The next morning I went to the office at 7:15 am & no one was there. There was an IPad & the instruction was to press a button & someone would answer. The manager, Ed Ortiz, answered from his bed. I told him I had issues & he said he would be in at 8:00 am. We explained our dissatisfaction & that we would not be staying the other 6 nights we had booked. He issued a refund & we spent 6 wonderful nights at the Hilton across the street.
